A print device includes a processor and a memory. The memory storing computer-readable instructions which, when executed by the processor, perform processes. The processes include covering processing controlling a cap into a covering state in which the cap covers a nozzle. The processes include first purge processing purging, in a state in which the cap is in the covering state and a supply valve is closed, an ink from the nozzle by operating a pump at a first rotation speed. The processes include injection processing injecting, after the first purge processing and in a state in which the cap is in the covering state and the supply valve is open, the cleaning liquid into the interior of the cap by operating the pump at a second rotation speed to cause the cleaning liquid to soak a nozzle face.

Print device

A print device includes a head, a recovery portion, a processor, and a memory. The head is configured to eject a first ink for base printing and a second ink for image printing. The first ink is ejected onto a print medium and the second ink is ejected on the base printing to print image printing. The recovery portion is configured to perform recovery processing. The recovery processing recovers an ejection performance of the first ink of the head. The memory stores computer-readable instructions. When the computer-readable instructions are executed by the processor, the processor acquires an integrated value of an ejection amount of the first ink. And the processor also determines, based on the acquired integrated value, whether to perform the recovery processing by the recovery portion.

Print device and non-transitory computer-readable medium

A print device includes a processor, and a memory. The processor performs processes. The processes include a covering control processing controlling the cap into a covering state in which the cap covers the nozzle. The processes include supply processing supplying, after the covering control processing, the cleaning liquid to the cap from the supply flow path. The processes include hold processing holding, after the supply processing and in a state in which the cleaning liquid has soaked the nozzle face, the cleaning liquid in the cap. The processes include first determination processing determining, after the hold processing, whether a print request has been received. The processes include discharge processing discharging, in a case where a power on signal has been detected or in a case where the first determination processing has determined that the print request has been received, the cleaning liquid that has been held in the cap.

A print device includes a head, a recovery portion, and a processor. The head ejects an ink onto a print medium. The recovery portion performs recovery processing to recover an ejection performance of the ink of the head. The processor acquires an integrated value of an ejection amount of the ink, and determines when the integrated value is equal to or more than a reference value, execution of the recovery processing including wiping of a nozzle surface. A nozzle hole is formed in the nozzle surface and ejects the ink. The processor acquires a temperature correlation value corresponding to an environmental temperature, and sets the reference value based on the acquired temperature correlation value such that the reference value when the environmental temperature is a first temperature is smaller than the reference value when the environmental temperature is a second temperature. The second temperature is higher than the first temperature.

A nozzle arrangement of a head portion of a printer includes nozzle arrays arranged in a first direction. Each of the nozzle arrays has nozzles arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction. Each of the nozzles is provided to eject liquid. The printer includes a set of liquid passages provided to supply the liquid to the nozzle arrangement. The set of liquid passages has liquid passages interconnected via a communication path. The nozzles in each of the nozzle arrays is connected to a corresponding one of the liquid passages. In selective flushing that is performed a plurality of times, among the nozzles configuring the nozzle arrays, liquid is ejected from the nozzles arranged in a first region adjacent to the communication path.

Print device and non-transitory computer readable medium

A nozzle arrangement has nozzle arrays arranged in a first direction. Liquid passages are interconnected via a communication path and arranged in the first direction. Nozzles in each one of the nozzle arrays are connected to a corresponding one of the liquid passages. Each of the liquid passages has a first end connected to a supply port and a second end connected to the communication path, in a second direction. The controller controls a flushing operation ejecting liquid from the nozzles as waste liquid. The controller controls the head portion to perform a selective flushing operation. The selective flushing operation is an operation of ejecting the liquid from the nozzles corresponding to a part, being at least one of the liquid passages, of a set of liquid passages while stopping ejection of the liquid from the nozzles corresponding to a remaining part of the set of liquid passages.

An ink refilling device including a supply portion to be connected to an ink cartridge and supply ink, an ink tank, a first connecting tube having one end connected to the ink tank, a three-way switching valve including an input end connected to the other end of the first connecting tube, a first output end and a second output end, and adapted to switch between a first flow path from the input end to the first output end and a second flow path from the input end to the second output end, a second connecting tube having one end connected to the first output end and the other end connected to the supply portion, a third connecting tube having one end connected to the second output end and the other end connected to the ink tank, and a feed pump provided along the first connecting tube to feed the ink.

Ink refilling device

An inkjet head is provided. The inkjet head includes an ink reservoir to store ink, an ink inlet, through which the ink is introduced to the ink reservoir, an ink outlet, through which the ink in the ink reservoir is allowed to flow to the inkjet nozzle. The ink reservoir has a wall arising from a bottom of the ink reservoir to divide the ink reservoir into a plurality of ink chambers. The plurality of ink chambers include a first ink chamber and a second ink chamber. The plurality of ink chambers are in fluid communication with each other over a top edge of the wall. The wall is formed to include a through hole, which is formed in a vicinity of the bottom of the ink reservoir and allows the plurality of ink chambers to be in fluid communication with each other.

Inkjet head and printing apparatus

A head for ejecting a liquid from ejection holes, including: a first flow-passage member in which is formed a first liquid-supply passage; a second flow-passage member in which is formed a second liquid-supply passage connected to the first passage and which has outflow ports for dispensing the liquid from the second passage; a third flow-passage member in which are formed (a) at least one common liquid passage each communicating with at least one of the outflow ports and (b) individual liquid passages; and at least one energy giving member, wherein the first member, the second member, and the third member are superposed in this order on each other, and wherein the head further comprises a heater disposed between one surface of the first member that faces the second member and facing surface of the second member as one surface thereof that faces the first member.

Liquid ejecting head

There is provided an inkjet head including a nozzle plate in which a plurality of nozzles from which ink is ejected are formed. The nozzle plate has a nozzle surface on which nozzle orifices corresponding to the plurality of nozzles are formed. The nozzle surface has surface roughness Rz in a range from 0.3 to 5 &#x3bc;m formed by a roughening process. The ink has surface tension in a range from 28 to 35 mN/m.

Inkjet head and inkjet recording device

An inkjet printer includes an inkjet head that ejects ink onto a recording medium, a movable ink tank having an ink introducing opening, an ink storing space for storing ink introduced through the ink introducing opening, and an ink discharging opening for discharging the ink of the ink storing space into the inkjet head, and a carriage that supports the inkjet head and the movable ink tank and reciprocates in a direction perpendicular to a feeding direction of the recording medium. The movable ink tank includes a partition wall extending in a direction perpendicular to a reciprocating direction of the carriage to divide the ink storing space into multiple rooms being in fluid communication with each other at upper portions thereof.

Inkjet printer

In a color ink jet recording apparatus using ultraviolet cure ink, the time required for printing is shortened and color of the ink can be clearly represented without upsizing the ink jet recording apparatus. The color ink jet printer includes a carriage that can move in a main scanning direction while guided by X-axis guide bars, Y, M, C and K heads aligned in a sub scanning direction on the carriage, and two ultraviolet lamps that are disposed on both sides sandwiching the heads therebetween on the carriage and each have a sufficient length. With this structure, a printed portion of a recording medium formed by each of the Y, M, C and K heads is irradiated with ultraviolet light by the UV lamps at least once after every printing in the main scanning direction.
