A plurality of transportation vehicles travel with power from an energy storage member along a predetermined travel route under control of a ground controller. A charging area having charging equipment for charging the energy storage member of the transportation vehicle is provided in the travel route, and the transportation vehicles report a position and remaining capacity of the energy storage member to the ground controller. The ground controller controls a transportation vehicle having remaining capacity of a threshold value or less to travel to the charging area for charging the energy storage member, and controls transportation vehicles in the charging area to travel to positions outside the charging area in accordance with transportation requests.

Transportation vehicle system and charging method for the transportation vehicle system

Self-diagnosis of a system including a travel route and a plurality of traveling vehicles traveling along the travel route in accordance with instructions from a ground controller is performed. The ground controller provides an instruction to the traveling vehicle regarding a position designated for performing detection using an abnormal condition detection sensor based on an absolute coordinate for uniquely identifying a position on the travel route. The traveling vehicle performs detection at the designated position using the abnormal condition detection sensor, and reports detection data including a detection position and detection time to the ground controller.

A ground controller and traveling vehicles are connected to a communication system on the ground. Position instructions are given to the traveling vehicles in each position control cycle. In response to a transfer request, for which a loading time at a transfer source and a loading time at a transfer target are designated by a production controller, there is created a transfer scenario, which contains a basic transfer (From) from the transfer source to a buffer near the transfer target, for example, and a basic transfer (To) from the buffer to the transfer target. In order that the basic transfers (From, To) may be able to be executed, the buffer is reserved, and a transfer vehicle is allocated. The time period for the transfer vehicle to run to the transfer source or the buffer and the time period for the transfer vehicle to run from the transfer source or the buffer are estimated to assign a transfer command to the transfer vehicle. The possibility that the loading and the loading time may deviate from a designated period is evaluated. In case this possibility is high, a production controller is informed that a just-in-time transfer is difficult.

A transportation vehicle measures its own absolute position, and transmits the measured absolute position to a ground controller. The ground controller keeps track of positions of a plurality of transportation vehicles in real time, and sends running instructions to travel, while avoiding interference between the transportation vehicles. As a result, the ground controller can control travel of the transportation vehicles in real time.

A transport scenario composed of a basic transport (From) from a transport starting point to, e.g., a buffer near the transport destination point and a basic transport (To) from the buffer to the transport destination point is created in response to a transport request of a production controller for transport whose loading times at the transport starting point and at the transport destination point are specified. An encoderdetermines the remaining travel distance of a stacker crane to perform deceleration control. When a linear sensordetermines an absolute distance from the stop position, the linear sensorperforms deceleration control, and when a mark sensordetects a mark, the mark sensorperforms stop control. Likewise, deceleration control is performed based on the remaining elevation distance determined by an encoder. Press machine

A work cutting apparatus in which clearance adjustment is simultaneously possible for the two sides of the L-shape of the blade by a single adjustment operation and in which the elevation system of the movable blade has a simple arrangement. The work cutting apparatus is provided with a fixed blade of which the plan shape is approximately L-shaped, and a movable blade that moves vertically and comprises an approximate l-shape in alignment with the fixed blade. The movable blade is mounted on the tip of a ram that pivots vertically via a pivot support shaft arranged on the lower frame. The pivot support shaft is an eccentric shaft and, by adjusting the rotation of the angle of the shaft, the oscillation center of the ram is changed and the clearance adjustment of the blades is possible. The axial direction of the pivot support shaft is angled with respect to both sides forming the L-shape of the fixed blade and by adjusting only the rotation angle of the pivot support shaft, clearance adjustment of both sides forming the L-shape of the blades may be simultaneously performed.
