An optical device manufacturing method and an optical device capable of forming a desired cured resin layer regardless of shapes of cover members. The method includes closely laminating a cover member having an opening onto a mold member having a fitting projection which fits to the opening so that the fitting projection is fitted to the opening to form a hollow laminated body capable of being filled with a curable resin; filling the hollow portion of the laminated body with the curable resin; curing the curable resin to form a cured resin layer on the cover member; peeling off the mold member from the cover member; and bonding the cured resin layer and an optical member.

Optical device manufacturing method and optical device

The reliability of backwashing valves constituted of first backwashing valves and second backwashing valves is ensured. A first backwashing valve (backwashing-gas rear valve) () that controls gas for backwashing and a second backwashing valve (backwashing-gas front valve) () that operates at slower speed than the first backwashing valve () are disposed, in a series including two or more thereof, at backwashing-gas introducing pipes individually provided for each of the filter blocks.

The damage evaluation method of a metal material by the present invention is a method for evaluating a flaw in the metal sample comprising the steps of mounting onto a metal surface including an internal flaw and on both sides of the flaw a transmitting probe for transmitting an ultrasonic waves and a receiving probe for receiving the ultrasonic waves, transmitting the ultrasonic waves towards the internal flaw and receiving the diffracted wave from the flaw for determining whether or not a flaw is present in the metal, based on the analysis of the distribution of the diffracted waves and an analysis of the sample as to whether voids (creep voids) are present and, if present, the distribution of the voids.

Method and apparatus for evaluating damage of metal material

A main printer that prints the cut papers fed from the paper feeding part and a support printer that prints and ejects the fed cut papers. The transporting part of the support printer has a cut paper transporting mechanism and a transporting control device. The cut paper transporting mechanism has a transporting route that transports the cut papers from the main printer to the inlet of the paper exit of the support printer or to the support printer and another transporting route that transports the cut papers exiting the support printer. It also has a transporting device that transports cut papers along the transporting routes. The transporting control device establishes the transporting route based on the given transporting destination specifying information and drives the transporting device.

A compact, low-height offset press of simple construction is easy to use, needs no after-use maintenance such as cleaning the ink roller and is designed for fully automatic operation. Plate support 1 and blanket support 10 consist of endless belts. Etching unit 60, dampening unit 70 and inking unit 80 are placed along the periphery of the plate support. An unetched plate is supplied from the plate supply unit and etched automatically for printing. When the press is not in use, anti-drying tank 95 moves up, enclosing the roller(s) in liquid, to prevent any ink on the roller surfaces from drying.

Offset press

A separation preventive pipe joint comprises a socket and a spigot inserted into the socket with an annular packing interposed therebetween. An annular gland connected to the socket has an axial packing presser projection and is internally provided wtih an annular receptacle groove. Arcuate engaging segments are incliningly disposed in a circular arrangement within the receptacle groove and retained there by elastic distancing members. The engaging segments are radially inwardly pressed by pressing bolts to engage in the spigot outer periphery. Each engaging the segment elastically deforms in a manner of a Belleville spring in response toseparating movement of the spigot to assume a posture generally perpendicular to the spigot outer periphery so that the engaging element engages in the spigot outer periphery more firmly.
