A motor includes a motor main body including a rotor and a stator, a housing that houses the motor main body, a controller that is located above the motor main body o controls rotation of the rotor, and a cover that surrounds the controller from a radially outer side. The housing includes a cover joint that is annular and surrounds the controller when viewed in an axial direction. The cover includes a cylindrical portion that surrounds the cover joint from an outside in a radial direction. The cover joint includes a contact portion that contacts a surface of the cylindrical portion in the radial direction and an adhesive joint that is bonded with the cylindrical portion via an adhesive in the radial direction. The contact portion and the adhesive joint are adjacent each other in a circumferential direction.

A motor includes a wire support member that includes a wire holding portion that holds one portion of coil lead wires among the coil lead wires extending upward from a coil, a first conducting member that electrically connects the other portion of the coil lead wires to each other, and a main body portion that supports the wire holding portion and a first conducting member, a bus bar unit includes a second conducting member connected to the coil lead wire held by the wire holding portion, and a bus bar holder that holds the second conducting member, and a bearing holder includes a through-hole which penetrates the bearing holder in an axial direction and through which a coil end of the coil lead wire or the second conducting member passes.

A bus bar unit includes an inner bus bar and an outer bus bar extending in a circumferential direction about a central axis of a motor and connected to a coil of a stator and held by a bus bar holder which is a resin molded structure and the outer bus bar is disposed outward in a radial direction with respect to the inner bus bar. The bus bar holder includes a first inner support wall to support an outer circumferential surface of the inner bus bar, a first outer support wall to support an inner circumferential surface of the outer bus bar, openings open in parallel or substantially in parallel in at least one of the first inner support wall and the first outer support wall in the circumferential direction, and through which a lead wire of the coil passes, and a connection rib extending in the radial direction between the openings adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction to connect the first inner support wall to the first outer support wall.

Bus bar unit and motor including the same

A bus bar assembly includes bus bars and a bus bar holder that is made of an insulating material and holds the bus bars in a non-contact state. The bus bars include base portions that overlap with other bus bars in the axial direction, and connecting portions extending from the base portions along the radial direction. At least two of the bus bars include stepped portions extending toward the other bus bars between proximal ends of the connecting portions and connection ends connected to windings. The bus bar holder molds the base portions and the stepped portions in a state where the connection ends are exposed.

Bus bar assembly and motor

A phase bus bar unit includes a bus bar holder that is an insulator and supports of bus bars for phases of a motor rotating about a central axis, and a bus bar cover which is an insulator, covers at least one side of each of the bus bars in an axial direction, and is fixed to the bus bar holder. Each of the bus bars includes a base, extensions each extending outward in a radial direction from the base, and a terminal installed on an outer end of each of the extensions in the radial direction. The bus bar cover includes protrusions each protruding to another side in the axial direction, and the protrusions are in contact with each of the bus bars while at least one of the protrusions is in contact with the base at or adjacent to the extension.

A rotor includes a shaft extending along a central axis, a sensor magnet positioned on one axial side of the shaft, a magnet holder that includes a circumferential wall which is open on another axial side and accommodates an end portion on the one axial side of the shaft and the sensor magnet therein, and a support wall positioned on the one axial side of the sensor magnet, the magnet holder being fixed to the shaft, and a filling that fills an inside of the circumferential wall. The sensor magnet is sandwiched between the support wall and the filling in an axial direction.

Rotor and motor

A motor includes a rotor that includes a shaft centered on a central axis extending in an upward and downward direction; a stator that is disposed to face the rotor in a radial direction; a bearing that supports the shaft; a bearing holder that holds the bearing; and a housing that accommodates the rotor, the stator, and the bearing holder, and opens to an upper side. The housing includes a controller accommodating region that accommodates at least a portion of a controller electrically connected to the stator on an upper side from the bearing holder. An inner diameter of the housing in the controller accommodating region is larger than an inner diameter of the housing at a position to which the bearing holder is attached. The bearing holder is held on an inner peripheral surface of the housing by interference fitting.

A bus bar unit includes a bus bar holder and bus bars. The bus bar holder is provided on an upper side of a stator disposed in a ring around a central axis extending in a vertical direction. The bus bars are supported by the bus bar holder and connected to coil wires extending from the stator. The bus bars are plate-shaped conductors and are supported by the bus bar holder with a plate surface facing in the vertical direction. The bus bars include coil connecting portions connected to the coil wires, and a bus bar body portion connecting the coil connecting portions through a radially inner side of the plurality of the coil connecting portions, respectively, and at least one bus bar crosses over an upper side or a lower side of at least one of the other bus bars.

Bus bar unit, motor, electric power steering device

A bus bar unit includes a bus bar holder, a U-phase bus bar group, a V-phase bus bar group, and a W-phase bus bar group each including a first layer bus bar located on one side of the bus bar holder in an axial direction and extending along a plane perpendicular to the axial direction, a second layer bus bar located on one side of the first layer bus bar in the axial direction and extending along the plane perpendicular to the axial direction, and an external connection terminal connected to the first layer bus bar and the second layer bus bar and extending from the first layer bus bar and the second layer bus bar toward one side in the axial direction. The first and second layer bus bars of each of the U-phase bus bar group, the V-phase bus bar group, and the W-phase bus bar group extend to opposite sides from each other in a circumferential direction from the external connection terminal connected thereto.

Bus bar unit and motor

A bus bar unit includes a bus bar holder, a bus bar extending in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction and fixed to the bus bar holder, and an external connection terminal connected to the bus bar and extending to one side in the axial direction from the bus bar. The external connection terminal has a plate shape. The external connection terminal includes a first plate portion extending toward one side in the axial direction and a second plate portion that is positioned on a base end side of the first plate portion, is provided with a connection portion connected to the bus bar, and faces a direction different from the first plate portion. The first plate portion and the second plate portion are connected to each other in a bending line extending in the axial direction, and the second plate portion extends from one surface side to the other surface side of the first plate portion when viewed in the axial direction.

A motor includes a rotor including a shaft centered on a center axis extending vertically, a stator that is radially opposed to the rotor and includes coils, a conductive holder accommodating the rotor and the stator and including a penetration unit penetrating axially, and a coil lead wire support that is at least partially disposed in the penetration unit, includes a coil lead wire insertion hole into which coil lead wires extending from the coils are provided, and is made of an insulating material. The coil lead wire support includes a base and a fitting unit extending downward from the base, at least one of a circumferential length and a radial length of the fitting unit being shorter than the base, and the coil lead wire insertion hole is in the base and the fitting unit, and the coil lead wire is inserted into the coil lead wire insertion hole.

Motor

A motor includes a rotor that has a shaft with a central axis extending in a vertical direction as a center, a stator disposed so as to face the rotor in a radial direction, a bearing that supports the shaft, a wire support member disposed above the stator, and a bearing holder disposed above the wire support member to hold the bearing. The stator includes a plurality of teeth, and a plurality of coils provided on the plurality of teeth. The wire support member includes a wire holding portion that holds one portion of coil lead wires among the coil lead wires drawn out from the coil, a conducting member that electrically connects the other portion of the coil lead wires to each other, and a main body portion that supports the wire holding portion and the conducting member.

A motor includes a stator including, a rotor to rotate about a central axis extending in a vertical direction, and a first bus bar, a second bus bar, and a third bus bar to which lead wires of the coils are respectively connected. The first bus bar includes a first connecting portion to which two lead wires are connected, the second bus bar includes a second connecting portion to which two lead wires are connected, the third bus bar includes a third connecting portion to which one lead wire is connected and a fourth connecting portion to which one lead wire is connected. The first and second connecting portions are arranged side by side in a circumferential direction, and the third and fourth connecting portions are arranged in the circumferential direction with the first and second connecting portions interposed therebetween.

In a motor, a wire support member includes a wire holding portion that holds one portion of coil lead wires among the coil lead wires extending upward from a coil, a first conducting member that electrically connects the other portion of the coil lead wires to each other, and a main body portion that supports the wire holding portion and a first conducting member, a bus bar unit includes a second conducting member connected to the coil lead wire held by the wire holding portion, and a bus bar holder that holds the second conducting member. A bearing holder includes a through-hole which penetrates the bearing holder in an axial direction and through which a coil end of the coil lead wire or the second conducting member passes.

A motor may include a rotor including a shaft; a stator; and a bearing supporting the shaft. The rotor may include a plurality of core pieces on an outer side of the shaft, a plurality of permanent magnets, a mold resin part between the core pieces, and an interposed part in contact with a surface on one side in a circumferential direction of each of the core pieces. The neighboring core pieces may include a magnet insertion hole provided therebetween. The permanent magnet may include two poles, with poles of neighboring magnets facing each other having identical polarity. Each of the permanent magnets is in indirect contact with the core piece positioned on the other side in the circumferential direction of the magnet insertion hole via the interposed part.
