A current of a storage battery is appropriately controlled depending on the situation. In a battery controller, a battery information acquiring unit acquires information on the storage battery. A first allowable current calculating unit calculates a first allowable current of a battery module in accordance with a rated value of a component through which a current flows by charging or discharging of the battery module. A second allowable current calculating unit calculates a second allowable current of the battery module in accordance with an SOC of the battery module on the basis of the information acquired by the battery information acquiring unit. A third allowable current calculating unit calculates a third allowable current of the battery module in accordance with an SOH of the battery module on the basis of the information acquired by the battery information acquiring unit.

Storage battery control device

In the battery control system pertaining to the present invention, one antenna is provided for each cell controller or each group of cell controllers. A battery controller switches between antennas by using a switch and performs wireless communication with each cell controller or each group of cell controllers. Hence, even if the number of cell controllers increases, a countermeasure can be taken by adding antennas and changing switches, and an increase in the number of battery controllers can be suppressed.

Battery control system

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a battery control system which enables extending the communication range between a cell controller and a battery controller while keeping power consumption in the cell controller low and which is capable of ensuring communication reliability. In this battery control system, after transmitting a response request to the cell controller, the battery controller transmits to the cell controller a non-modulated wave having a power level lower than that of the response request, and the cell controller generates a response signal by performing amplitude-modulation on the non-modulated wave (see FIG.).

A battery control device capable of obtaining an allowable charge/discharge current value can further accurately reflect a polarization state of a battery. A battery controller includes a first allowable current value calculation unit, a battery equivalent circuit model, and a correction amount calculation unit. Assuming a non-polarization state, a current limit value of the battery based on an open circuit voltage and upper and lower limit voltages set in the battery, the first allowable current value calculation unit calculates a first allowable current value Imax. The battery equivalent circuit model estimates a polarization state of the battery when the current limit value is being calculated. The correction unit calculates an allowable current value correction value based on the estimated polarization state for correcting Imax. The battery management device includes: a divergence amount calculation unit that calculates a divergence amount between a life target value or a degradation amount target value of a storage battery, which is a secondary battery, and a life prediction value or a degradation amount prediction value according to use history of the storage battery in an arbitrary period; and a limit value change unit that changes charge/discharge limit values for controlling degradation of the storage battery based on the divergence amount. The limit value change unit includes a first limit value calculation unit that calculates a first limit value set that is a combination of the charge/discharge limit values for each of a plurality of types of control parameters that change in correlation with each other based on the divergence amount.

Battery management device and system, and hybrid vehicle control system for utilizing battery performance while maintaining battery life

An object of the invention is to improve communication quality in a power storage management system. The above-mentioned problem may be solved by the following one solution. When a communication error where transmission, reception, or both transmission and reception of a signal is not allowed occurs between one or a plurality of a plurality of information acquisition devices that acquires states of a plurality of power storage cells and an information collection device that communicates with the plurality of information acquisition devices in a time-division manner, and collects information related to the states of the plurality of power storage cells acquired by the plurality of respective information acquisition devices, a process for resolving a communication error is executed by putting all the plurality of information acquisition devices in a state in which communication with the information collection device is allowed at all times. Here, the plurality of information acquisition devices is in a state in which communication with the information collection device is allowed in a first period in which the plurality of information acquisition devices communicates with the information collection device, and is in a state in which the state, in which communication with the information collection device is allowed, is canceled in a second period in which other information acquisition devices communicate with the information collection device in a relation of n to 1 (n is a positive natural number indicating the number of communication channels of the information collection device).

Power storage management system

In a power storage system equipped with a secondary battery, a control system of the secondary battery includes a unit which detects an index indicating a degradation state of a positive electrode, a unit which detects an index indicating a degradation state of a negative electrode, a unit which calculates a difference between the index of the positive electrode and the index of the negative electrode, a unit which determines a sign of the difference, and a unit which changes an operation condition of the secondary battery according to the sign. With this configuration, in the control of the secondary battery, it is possible to avoid a life estimation accuracy from being decreased while using a processor which has a high-speed processing performance and is inexpensive.

An object of the present invention is to provide a wireless communication technique which can measure a physical state of the measurement object with high accuracy and can transmit the measurement result rapidly. The communication device according to the present invention wirelessly transmits the measurement result during a first time slot, and starts measurement during a second time slot which differs from the first time slot (see FIG.).

There is provided a wireless battery system reconcilable with unsuccessful communication due to interference from an external wireless instrument or radio wave reflection or shielding under a surrounding physical environment. A wireless battery system allocates a cell controller to a cell, detects a cell state, and wirelessly communicates a cell state detected by a cell controller to a battery controller. During the wireless communication, the battery controller transmits a beacon to the cell controller and specifies a duration for radio wave environment measurement and a frequency to be measured as a condition. A battery control system is provided with a plurality of battery cell management devices that are provided respectively corresponding to a plurality of battery cell groups each constituted by one or a plurality of battery cells and each acquire a measurement result of the state of charge of the battery cell of the corresponding battery cell group and an assembled battery management device for wirelessly communicating with the battery cell management devices. When it is impossible to wirelessly communicate with any of the battery cell management devices, the assembled battery management device wirelessly communicates with the said any of the battery cell management devices via any of other battery cell management devices except the said any of the battery cell management devices.

A radio battery system according to the present invention includes a battery controller and a plurality of cell controllers. The battery controller and the plurality of cell controllers communicate at a plurality of communication slots of a time division communication. The battery controller transmits data at a beginning of each of the plurality of communication slots. Each of the cell controllers measures a state of a cell at one or plurality of predetermined communication slots and transmits data at a predetermined communication slot. Each of the cell controllers is capable of switching between a normal transmission/reception mode and a sleep mode with a low power consumption.

Radio battery system, and cell controller and battery controller that have radio battery system

The present invention has an object to provide a battery control system which can immediately notify an abnormality to a battery system controller when a battery abnormality occurs. The battery control system according to the invention includes a first communication unit which transmits battery data using a first radio frequency and a second communication unit which transmits abnormality data using a second radio frequency. The first communication unit transmits the battery data at a predetermined period. The second communication unit transmits the abnormality data when the battery abnormality is detected.
