A method and an apparatus efficiently and reliably cut a steel frame. The cutting method includes locating a cutting torch apart from the steel frame held by a holding device in a direction along a cutting surface, moving the cutting torch from a cutting start position to a first cutting end position in a first feed direction perpendicular to a supply direction along the cutting surface, while applying a flame from a fire port of the cutting torch in the supply direction and supplying cutting oxygen to thereby cut a part of the cutting surface, stopping the cutting torch at the first cutting end position and thereafter cutting an uncut part by moving the cutting torch from the first cutting end position in a second feed direction opposite to the first feed direction.

Steel-frame cutting method and device

A cutting device capable of efficiently cutting an object with a simple configuration includes a grasp unit including a first grasper and a second grasper movable in an opening and closing directions to grasp the object, a cutting unit disposed side by side with the first and second graspers and moved in a cutting direction along the opening and closing directions to cut the object, and a position setter setting a cutting start position and a cutting end position based on respective positions of the first and second graspers that are grasping the object, respectively.

Pipe mounting structure in work machine

A working machine includes a base machine and a working attachment. The working attachment has a base-end boom, a lead-end boom, and an arm. The working machine is collapsible into a triple-folded state, with the base-end boom being located on the upper side and the arm being located on the lower side with respect to the lead-end boom, as a posture of the working machine for transport. The working machine further includes a lead-end boom cylinder for moving the lead-end boom, and an arm cylinder for moving the arm. The lead-end boom has a first lead-end boom cylinder attachment portion for mounting the lead-end boom cylinder, and a first arm cylinder attachment portion for mounting the arm cylinder. The first lead-end boom cylinder attachment portion is disposed at a position different from the first arm cylinder attachment portion in a widthwise direction of the working attachment, and lower than the first arm cylinder attachment portion in the transport posture.

A gripping device includes a gripping-device body mounted to an end of a working arm; two gripping members pivotably supported by this body in an opening-closing direction; and a driver that drives the gripping members to open and close them. At least one of the gripping members includes one of various kinds of detachable sections each including a gripping segment; a holding section pivotably connected to the gripping-device body about a central pivot shaft and selectively holding the detachable section in a detachable manner; and a coupling member for detachable coupling. The detachable section has a restrained segment having a detachable-section through-hole extending parallel to the central pivot shaft. The holding section has an opening-closing-direction restraining segment that restrains the restrained segment in the opening-closing direction and a holding wall to which the restrained segment is fastened with the coupling member from a direction parallel to the detachable-section through-hole.

A gripping device includes a spring member provided between a gripping member body and a shaft so that driving of a gripping driving cylinder causes a driving force to be transmitted from the gripping driving cylinder to the body while the shaft and the body are held in a predetermined positional relationship; so that the body is allowed to retreat with respect to the shaft by elastically deforming the spring member by an opposing force received from a processing object that contacts the body as a result of rotating the body; and so that contact pressure of the body with respect to the processing object is increased by an elastic force of the spring member as the body retreats.

Boom for construction machine

Assembly of a pin guide member for retaining a pair of connecting pins is facilitated for improvement in an assembling property and cost reduction. On the premise that inner brackets are overlapped with outer brackets, and pins are inserted into pin holes thereof so as to connect the brackets to each other, inner collar portions of pin guide members for retaining the pins are combined and integrated with each other by bolts and nuts through a supporting plate serving as a connection member. Meanwhile, outer collar portions of both the pin guide members are supported in the pin radial direction with respect to the inner brackets and rotation thereof is prevented.
