A vehicle seat, in which an occupant of a vehicle is to be seated, includes one or more vibration application units and a vibration application control processor. The one or more vibration application units are each configured to apply vibration to a portion of the vehicle seat. The portion is to be in contact with the occupant. The vibration application control processor is configured to cause each of the one or more vibration application units to vibrate with a vibration application waveform. The vibration application waveform includes a frequency component that is higher than or equal to 100 hertz and lower than or equal to 300 hertz and has an amplitude that varies in accordance with acceleration acting on the vehicle.

Vehicle seat

An electric power steering system includes an electric actuator, a current indication value generation unit, an actuator control unit, and a noise signal generation unit. The electric actuator is configured to apply assist force to a steering device. The steering device is configured to turn a steering wheel of a vehicle. The current indication value generation unit is configured to generate a current indication value in accordance with a target value of the assist force. The actuator control unit is configured to supply electric power to the electric actuator in accordance with the current indication value. The noise signal generation unit is configured to add a noise signal to the current indication value. The noise signal has a dominant frequency that is a frequency matching a control clock frequency of the vehicle or a harmonic component of the control clock frequency.

Electric power steering system

An electric power steering device includes a motor, a motor controller, first and second power source circuits, a power source switching circuit, and a voltage detector. The power source switching circuit is configured to switch between a first state in which the motor controller receives electric power from the first power source circuit but is cut off from the second power source circuit, and a second state in which the motor controller receives electric power from the second power source circuit but is cut off from the first power source circuit. The voltage detector is configured to detect the voltage of the first power source circuit. The power source switching circuit is configured to select the second state in a case where the voltage of the first power source circuit is less than or equal to a predetermined value, and select the first state in cases other than the case.

Electric power steering device

An accelerator pedal apparatus in which an acceleration operation for a vehicle is to be performed by a pedal configured to be operated by a foot includes a vibration application unit and a vibration application control processor. The vibration application unit is configured to apply vibration to the pedal. The vibration application control processor is configured to cause the vibration application unit to apply the vibration to the pedal with a vibration application waveform including one or both of a frequency component that is higher than or equal to 10 hertz and lower than or equal to 50 hertz and a frequency component that is higher than or equal to 100 hertz and lower than or equal to 300 hertz.
