Provided is a non-pneumatic tire including an attachment body attached to an axle, an outer tubular body () configured to surround the attachment body from the outside in a tire radial direction, and a connecting member () configured to connect the attachment body and the outer tubular body while allowing displacement therebetween, wherein the connecting member includes a first elastic connecting plate () in which a first end portion () connected to the outer tubular body is disposed closer to a first side in a tire circumferential direction than a second end portion connected to the attachment body and an intermediate portion () is disposed between the first end portion and the second end portion, and both of circumferential end surface () directed in the tire circumferential direction among surfaces of the first end portion of the first elastic connecting plate extend in opposite directions in the tire circumferential direction to be separated from each other from the inside toward the outside in the tire radial direction.

A method of manufacturing an information display device having an information display panel, in which display media are sealed between two substrates, at least one substrate being transparent, and, in which the display media, to which an electrostatic field is applied, are made to move so as to display information such as an image, is characterized in that the improvement comprises, in the case of electrically connecting an electrode arranged on one substrate and an electrode arranged on the other substrate at an outer portion of an information display portion of the information display panel, the steps of: arranging an adhesive including conductive spacer particles having a diameter smaller than a distance between the electrodes arranged on the substrates at a predetermined portion between the substrates; and pressing a portion of the substrate, to which the adhesive is arranged, under pressure; so that the electrode arranged on one substrate is electrically connected to the electrode arranged on the other substrate.

Method of manufacturing information display device

An information display panel wherein display media consists of at least one kind of particle and having optical reflectance and charging characteristics are sealed between two opposed substrates, at least one of which is transparent. The display media, to which an electrostatic field is applied, are made to move so as to display information. A member for securing a gap space is formed in the outer and inner peripheral sides of a sealing agent placement part provided in the outer edge portion of an display area of the panel. The member provided in the outer peripheral side is provided evenly in each side and densely in each corner portion. The member provided in the inner peripheral side is provided with chamfered corners in each corner portion, so that the member for securing the gap space does not contact to the sealing agent placement part.

In a first aspect of the invention, an information display panel, in which at least one group of display media having optical reflectance and charge characteristics, formed by at least one group of particles, are scaled in a cell (corresponding to one display unit) formed by partition walls between two substrates, at least one substrate being transparent, and, in which the display media, to which an electrostatic field is applied, are made to move so as to display information such as an image, includes (1) a color filter formed by arranging filters having a predetermined numbers of colors on a transparent substrate at a display side so as to perform a color display, and a black layer arranged between the partition walls and the transparent substrate. In a second and a third aspects of the invention, an information display panel, in which at least one group of display media having optical reflectance and charge characteristics, formed by at least one group of particles, are sealed in a cell (corresponding to one display unit) formed by partition walls between two substrates, at least one substrate being transparent, and, in which the display media, to which an electrostatic field is applied, are made to move so as to display information such as a color image, includes (2) transparent color filters having three primary colors respectively arranged to one cell, and a colorless transparent clear portion arranged to the respective transparent color filters, and (3) transparent color filters having three primary colors respectively arranged to three pixels formed by dividing respective display units by means of partition walls, and a colorless transparent clear portion arranged to the respective transparent color filters.

An image display device which comprises an image display panel, in which particles or liquid powders as image display media are sealed in cells formed in an isolated manner from one another by partition walls between two opposed substrates, at least one of two substrates being transparent, and, in which the particles or the liquid powders, to which an electrostatic field is applied, are made to move so as to display an image, is characterized in that: (1) the partition walls are manufactured by a photolithography method, and a shape of the partition wall is a taper shape such that a width of an end portion at a side of a rear substrate is larger than that at a side of a front substrate; (3-1) a plurality of cells are arranged in such a manner that they do not correspond one for one to the positions of pixels for displaying the image; (3-2) a ratio of cell area/pixel area is formed to be smaller than 4; and (2) the image display panel is manufactured by: forming a first layer made of photosensitive color composite on one substrate; forming a second layer made of photosensitive composite, which has a light transmission higher than that of the first layer and a thickness larger than that of the first layer, on the first layer; performing an exposure through a mask with respect to the first layer and the second layer on the substrate; performing a developing and a washing with respect to the exposed first and second layers so as to form color partition walls on the substrate; and connecting the other substrate to the color partition walls.

An information display device has an information display plate where at least one or more kinds of particles are sealed between cells formed by a partition wall, the cells being between two opposite substrates at least either of which is transparent. At least either of electrodes is provided on a substrate, and an electric field is applied to the particles by the electrodes to move the particles, causing information such as an image to be displayed on the display plate. The surfaces of the substrates are smoothed by making D&#x2267;2H satisfied, with D being the diameter of a particle (a particle forming the particles), H the height of the electrodes. This thins the electrodes as much as possible (making the height of the electrodes small) and smoothes the surfaces of the substrates, and as a result, the information display device after an endurance test has an improved contrast ratio.
