An information displaying apparatus includes: a memory control unit that stores information to a storage medium, and outputs the information from the storage medium; a display that displays the information output from the storage medium in a predetermined display form on a screen of the display; an image-capturing unit that captures an image of an observer in a state to observe the display and outputs an image signal; a facial image detection unit that detects an inclination of a facial image of the observer based on the image signal; and a display form change unit that changes the display form of the information to be displayed on the screen. The display form change unit changes the display form so that the information to be displayed on the screen rotates by a predetermined rotation angle based on the inclination of the facial image detected by the facial image detection unit.

A lens barrel comprises barrier blades that open and close in a directional orthogonal to an optical axis; an optical system retention frame that includes a first surface along a direction orthogonal to the axis, the optical system retention frame retaining the optical system and movable with respect to the barrier blades in a direction along the axis; and a coupling plate includes a second surface relatively movable with respect to the first surface, the coupling plate causing the barrier blades to open and close by the coupling plate rotating about the axis; wherein, when the barrier blades are opened, the first surface is can move in the axis direction without abutting against the second surface and, when the barrier blades are closed, the first surface abuts against the second surface and movement of the first surface in the axis direction is restricted.

A vibration reduction unit of the present invention is comprising: a shooting optical system; a movable optical member that is part of the shooting optical system or which is another member, and which is provided movably relative to the shooting optical system; a magnetic sensor used to detect a position of the movable optical member; and a coil having a winding center line of a winding wire situated substantially in parallel with and on substantially the same plane as a given plane in which the magnetic sensor is disposed.

Vibration reduction unit, lens barrel and camera

A shielding device for shielding a clearance between a frame member having an opening and a tube member received in the opening and movable substantially in the direction of an optical axis. The shielding device comprises an annular shielding member arranged between the inner circumference of the opening of the frame member and the outer circumference of the tube member. The annular shielding member is so slidably fitted on the tube member that its inner circumference may contact with the outer circumference portion of the tube member, and is either given substantially the same color as that of the outer circumference surface of the tube member or made substantially transparent at least at its portion having contact with the tube member.
