The present invention improves slidability between a moving part and a support member that supports the moving part. A head-up display device includes: a display that emits display light; a moving part on which a first sliding surface is formed; and a support member on which a second sliding surface that comes into contact with the first sliding surface is formed. The support member movably supports the moving part. The head-up display device displays vehicle information as virtual images from the display light. Linear protrusions and recesses are formed on the first sliding surface and/or the second sliding surface following the trajectory along which the moving part moves.

Head-up display device

This head-up display device according to an embodiment of the present invention is mounted on an instrument panel of a vehicle. A display means that emits display light is contained in a chassis having a light transmissive cover having a curved surface, and the display light emitted by the display means is output from the light transmissive cover. The curved surface of the light transmissive cover is curved so that the side on the front side of the vehicle is lower than the side on the back side of the vehicle, and that the curved surface is inclined toward the left-right direction of the vehicle so that a corner of the curved surface is lowest.

Provided is a display apparatus capable of having excellent yield. This display apparatus is provided with: a light source that outputs light for lighting a liquid crystal display element; an optical element (a first light collecting lens or the like) that is disposed on an optical axis of the light source, said optical element being disposed between the light source and the liquid crystal display element; and a case body that houses the optical element. The case body has: an upper opening opened toward the Z axis direction; a bottom section that is positioned on the opposite side to the upper opening in the Z axis direction; and a groove section (a groove section or the like), which is positioned between the upper opening and the bottom section, extends in the Z axis direction, and is recessed in the X axis direction. The optical element has a protruding section (a flange section or the like) that protrudes in the X axis direction, and is housed in the case body in a state wherein the optical element is standing in the Z axis direction by having the protruding section caught in the groove section.

Display apparatus

Provided are: a backlight unit that is capable of increasing the degree of freedom in design of a device on which the backlight unit is mounted; and a display device which is provided with this backlight unit. This backlight unit is provided with: a light source which emits light that illuminates a liquid crystal display element; a light collection means for focusing the light emitted from the light source on a display region (A) of the liquid crystal display element; and a reflective part which has a reflective surface that reflects the light emitted from the light source toward the liquid crystal display element. This backlight unit is configured such that the optical path for the light from the light source to the liquid crystal display element is replicated at the reflective part by having the reflective surface inclined to the optical axis (AX) of the light source.
