An operation system includes: an operation apparatus that includes a display displaying information and an operation unit receiving an operation, is connected to a communication network, and, using the display and the operation unit, enables other apparatus to operate through the communication network; an operation target apparatus that is connected to the operation apparatus in parallel using the communication network and a direct connection line and receives an operation through the communication network; a connection storing unit that is built in the operation apparatus, is connected to the operation target apparatus through the communication network and stores connection information used for operating the operation target apparatus; and a search device as defined herein, and the search device includes: a first information acquiring unit; a second information acquiring unit; an apparatus specifying unit; and a storage instructing unit as defined herein.

Operation system, search device and search method

When a user system requests an image processing apparatus to perform a color correction processing and an image processing, an authentication processing is performed between the user system and the image processing apparatus. The user system outputs drawing data and print options to the image processing apparatus, which then performs RIP processing of the drawing data, and an accounting processing for the RIP processing is performed. Subsequently, a print processing of the image data supplied by performing the RIP processing is performed on a printer. Charging for the print processing is conducted.

Image processing system and method

In order to obtain a desired print result, a color correction process may be performed on image data based on the characteristics of a printing device. Data called target profile (TP data) showing the characteristics of the printing device is used for the color correction process. When a user makes a request to an image processing device for image processing, it is judged whether TP data is required for the image processing or not. When TP data is required, image processing using the TP data is executed. Further, the fee for use of the TP data and the fee for the image processing are charged on the user of the requester.

Data processing system and method

The present invention provides an image processing method and image processing device for performing image processing, based on image data and/or drawing instructions, on a page layout which employs process colors inputted from an image processing terminal. The image processing method includes: (a) specifying a color substitution of one of the process colors for the image data and/or drawing instructions; (b) instructing addition of a paper color, including color information, to the whole area of the page layout; and (c) performing the color substitution by adding the color information of the paper color to color information of a substitution color which is being substituted for the process color specified by the color substitution.

Image processing method and image processing device

When image synthesis using form data, for which a pass code has been set, or merge data, for which a password has been set, is completed, the synthesized data is encoded and held. Thereafter, a client terminal is notified by e-mail that image synthesis has been completed. Thereafter, when a request for output is inputted, collation of passwords is carried out. If the passwords match, decoding and printing-out of encoded synthesized data, or transmission of the encoded synthesized data is carried out.
