In a linear drive device, a movable member is driven using a guide shaft and a lead screw supported by a bracket. Since a nut mechanism, which with the lead screw configures a feed screw mechanism, is provided with a first spring between two nuts, it is possible to limit rattling of the nuts with respect to the lead screw. Of the two nuts, the first nut provided on the side opposite a motor and a first plate is not able to move relative to the movable member in the axis direction. As a result, when a member to be driven is loaded on the movable member and the movable member is driven in the direction approaching the first plate, the first plate and members disposed therearound are not susceptible to interference by the member being driven.

A connection structure of an electric component, a motor and a connection method of an electric component are provided. The connection structure of the electric component includes: an electric component main body having a connection terminal; a connector for wiring which is connected with the connection terminal; a base member; and a cover member. The base member is provided with an accommodation recessed part which accommodates inside a connected portion between the connection terminal and the connector. The accommodation recessed part has an opening part opened to an upper side. The cover member is attached to the base member so as to cover the opening part. An inside of the accommodation recessed part is filled with a sealing material which seals the connected portion between the connection terminal and the connector, and the sealing material fixes the connected portion, the base member and the cover member to each other.

A head-up display includes a case main body formed with an opening part, a combiner capable of closing the opening part, a combiner drive unit including a drive device and a spring, and a projection unit. The combiner, the combiner drive unit and the projection unit are accommodated inside the case main body. The combiner drive unit is integrally provided with a second turnable shaft and a bearing turnably supporting the second turnable shaft is provided in a base part fixed to the case main body so as to be turnable with respect to the base part. A first spring for urging the bearing with respect to the base part in one direction is provided between the base part and the bearing. A second spring for urging the combiner drive unit with respect to the bearing in an opposite direction is provided between the bearing and the combiner drive unit.
