Provided is a vehicular control device that is provided with a switching circuit, and for opening/closing a connection between a starter including a capacitor that is to be connected to one end portion of the switching circuit and an in-vehicle battery that is to be connected to another end portion of the switching circuit by controlling an on/off state of the switching circuit. The control device includes a voltage detection unit configured to detect a voltage of the one end portion, and a control unit configured to control the switching circuit to turn off from on, and determine whether there is a failure in the switching circuit, based on a voltage detected by the voltage detection unit when a predetermined time has elapsed from when the switching circuit is controlled to turn off from on.

Control device and failure determination method for determining a failure in a switching circuit

A driving support apparatus includes an imaging member taking an image corresponding to a vehicle peripheral area; a steering angle detecting member detecting a steering-wheel steering angle; a display member disposed in a vehicle interior to display the image; and a control member predicting a driving course of the vehicle according to the detected steering-wheel angle. The control member synthesizes a predicted driving course image relating to the predicted driving course. The control member superposes the predicted driving course image at a corresponding position of the image. The control member displays on the display member the image where at least one image, on which an index is marked at least at one height position, is superposed at least on the predicted driving course image and onto a side of the predicted driving course image while the control member displays the superposed image on the display member.

Driving support apparatus

A vehicle's peripheral visible apparatus includes an image pick-up device being installed on a vehicle. The image pick-up device can picking up, from a position which is horizontally off with respect to an center axis along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, an image of a field of view having the center axis on a center of the field of view. The image pick-up device includes an image pick-up element having a center; and an optical element focusing light ray incident from the field of view on the image pick-up element. The optical element has a center. The image pick-up element is off in a substantially horizontal direction with respect to a center of the optical element, so that a position, on which an image of the center of field of view is focused, moves to the center of the image pick-up element.

Vehicle's peripheral visible apparatus

A monitoring apparatus includes plural imaging units; a viewpoint conversion unit making viewpoint conversion of each imaged picture of the plural imaging units into an overhead picture with the same depression angle, respectively; and a picture composite unit joining each overhead picture obtained from the viewpoint conversion unit to superimpose the same scene portion of each overhead picture, and generating a wide overhead picture. The picture composite unit adopts a picture of a superimposed portion in the overhead picture with the highest picture quality of the superimposed portion among each overhead picture related to the superimposed portion as a picture of the superimposed portion of the wide overhead picture.

Monitoring apparatus

The present invention provides a grommet with a grommet body having an insertion aperture into which a corrugated tube is inserted, and a slit extending from the insertion aperture to an outer peripheral surface of the grommet body so that the slit can be opened and closed. Facing surfaces of the grommet body on opposite sides of the slit are inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to a line coextensive with a central axis of the insertion aperture. The outer peripheral surface of the body is also inclined at the same predetermined angle with respect to the line. The present invention makes it easier to mount a corrugated tube to the insertion aperture of the grommet body by using the slit, and thus improves efficiency of the mounting operation. In addition, after mounting the corrugated tube, the slit is tightly closed, and thus waterproofness and soundproofness of the grommet are not adversely affected.

Grommet

The present invention provides a terminal protective cap that covers a terminal of an electric wire and protects the terminal from exposure. The terminal protective cap has an engaging portion that engages with a projecting portion provided on an outer periphery of the terminal. This prevents the terminal from being exposed. Thus, the terminal is securely protected.
