A paint supply method supplies a paint into a paint cartridge by using a filling valve that has: a paint supply channel that is linkable in communication with a supply portion provided for supplying the paint into the paint cartridge; a branch channel that branches from the paint supply channel near a site of linkage in communication between the supply portion and the paint supply channel; and a trigger valve as an open-close valve of the paint supply channel which is disposed in the paint supply channel upstream of the site of linkage in communication. After a filling liquid is filled into the branch channel, the trigger valve (open-close valve) is opened, and the paint is supplied into the paint cartridge via the paint supply channel.

Method of supplying paint to a paint cartridge

A paint filling apparatus has a plurality of header portions, and one common manifold portion that is capable of supplying a cleaning liquid to each header portion. One side of each header portion is attachable to and detachable from a paint cartridge, and another side of each header portion is attachable to and detachable from the common manifold portion. Each header portion has a paint supply channel for filling a paint into the paint cartridge. The paint supply channel of each header portion is constructed of a piping member and a paint channel. An end portion of each header portion is linkable in communication with the inside of the paint cartridge, and another end portion thereof is linked in communication with a corresponding one of paint tanks that are provided separately for each of the paint colors. An intermediate portion of each paint supply channel is provided with a paint valve that controls the open-closed state of the upstream side of the paint supply channel.

Apparatus for filling paint cartridges

An electrostatic coating system includes a coating robot () and an electrostatic atomizer () attached to a polyarticular wrist portion () of the robot (). The atomizer () includes an end plate (), metallic connector () fixed to the end plate () in electric conduction, high voltage generator () and bell head (). Electric power is supplied to the high voltage generator () through the connector (). Wires () are connected to the connector () to take out high voltage leak caused by contamination like a deposition of paint on outer surfaces of the atomizer () through the wiresto control the high voltage generator () to lower the value of the high voltage applied to the bell head () of high voltage leak detected through the wires () is larger than a predetermined threshold value.

Electrostatic coating system

According to the present invention, even though the paint is filled or discharged repetitively to or from the paint bag (), so that bursting of a coating bag () or lack of coating material during coating are not caused by accumulation of error between the filling amount and the using amount. That is, before a predetermined amount of the coating material is supplied to the coating material bag (), the remaining coating material in the coating material bag () is extruded to empty it, since the coating material bag () is squashed by the pressure of fluid which was supplied to the hydraulic fluid chamber () outside of the bag.

Method and apparatus for filling coating material

A painting material charging device may comprise a cartridge attaching unit, a painting material supplying path, a first switching unit, a painting material supplying unit, a discharging path, a second switching unit, a painting material sensor and a controlling unit. The controlling unit may be configured to be connected to the painting material sensor and the second switching unit. The controlling unit may be configured to cause the second switching unit to fully close the discharging path in a case where the painting material sensor detects the painting material.

Painting material charging device

For providing a coating material cartridge capable of reliably discharging air and coating material stagnated in a hydraulic fluid chamber, a coating material cartridge has a cartridge main body, a partition body, a coating material transfer path and a plurality of hydraulic fluid transfer paths. The cartridge main body is detachably attached to a coating material filling device. The partition body partitions the inner region of the cartridge main body into a coating material chamber and a hydraulic fluid chamber. The coating material transfer path communicates the coating material chamber and the outer region of the cartridge main body, and each of the hydraulic fluid transfer paths communicates the hydraulic fluid chamber and a outer region of the cartridge main body. Each of the hydraulic fluid transfer paths has a plurality of openings that opens in the hydraulic fluid chamber and the distance for each of the openings from the connection end face is different from each other.

Coating material cartridge

An apparatus for replenishing paint into a paint cartridge ( ), which is capable of putting paint in respiratory circulation while the cartridge is in a waiting state. The apparatus includes a replenishing valve ( ) which is capable of feeding paint to and from a paint chamber ( ) of the paint cartridge ( ) which is set on a replenishing stool ( ), and a respiratory paint circulation valve ( ) which is capable of feeding paint-extruding thinner to and from a thinner chamber ( ) of the cartridge. After switching the replenishing valve ( ) to a drain or discharge side, paint-extruding thinner is supplied from the respiratory paint circulation valve ( ) to push paint out of the paint chamber ( ) of the cartridge ( ). Then, after switching the replenishing valve ( ) to the side of a paint supply source, paint-extruding thinner is discharged by way of the respiratory paint circulation valve ( ) to suck paint into the paint chamber ( ). As a consequence, paint in the cartridge ( ) is put in respiratory circulation to prevent separation and sedimentation of pigment components of the paint.

Cartridge paint-charging method and device therefor

A method for the electrodeposition coating of workpieces conveyed in an electrodeposition bath, wherein voltage applying means is provided in a plurality of stages of not less than three in the conveying direction of the workpieces. Voltage is increased at the first stage, and the multiple stages voltage applying means is initiated after the workpieces reach a submersion area where the workpieces are completely submerged in the paint contained in the electrodeposition bath. Voltage application at the final stage of the voltage applying means is terminated before the workpieces exit from the submersion area. By this method, the thickness of the electrodeposition film can be made uniform so that there is no difference in film thickness between lower and higher workpieces or in the lower and upper parts of a workpiece.
