Provided is a method of producing a composition comprising a thermoplastic resin and a rubber, wherein a solid rubber is molten by a rubber kneading machine and fed into an extruder, and the molten rubber is melt-kneaded with the thermoplastic resin in the extruder. The composition has a uniform component ratio and excellent moldability, and can be used widely as raw materials of molded articles, sheets, films and containers.

A laminate comprising a metallic foil and a layer made of a liquid crystal polyester resin composition comprising a liquid crystal polyester(A) as a continuous phase and rubber(B) having a functional group reactive with the liquid crystal polyester as a dispersed phase. The laminate has excellent flexibility and electric properties, and additionally is cheap, therefore, suitable as a print wiring board. A liquid crystal polyester resin composition comprising a liquid crystal polyester (A) in a continuous phase and a rubber having a functional group reactive with the liquid crystal polyester (B) in a dispersed phase. A liquid crystal polyester resin composition of the present invention is excellent in heat resistance, molding processability and mechanical properties, particularly in impact resistance and tensile property, capable of improving anisotropy of a molded article. Furthermore, film formation processability can be improved at a low cost, and a film produced for the composition has excellent gas barrier property, drawing property and flexibility.

A liquid crystal polyester resin composition film made of a liquid crystal polyester resin composition comprising (A) 56 through 99% by weight of a liquid crystal polyester and (B) 44 through 1% by weight of a thermoplastic resin having an epoxy group and molded with uniaxial orientation, with biaxial orientation, by blown film extrusion or by laminating. A liquid crystal polyester resin composition of the invention includes 55.0 through 99.9 percent by weight of a liquid crystal polyester as a component (A) and 0.1 through 45.0 percent by weight of an epoxy group-containing ethylene copolymer as a component (B), wherein the component (B) includes: (a) 50 through 96.5 percent by weight of an ethylene unit; (b) 0.5 through 30 percent by weight of an unsaturated glycidyl carboxylate unit or an unsaturated glycidyl ether unit; and (c) 3 through 40 percent by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated ester compound unit.
