An image display device includes a display panel that displays an image on a front surface; a light guide plate that is disposed on a rear surface of the display panel; a support plate that supports the light guide plate, and extends beyond at least one lateral surface of the light guide plate in a front view of the light guide plate; a light-emitting diode (LED) unit that emits light into an incident surface of the light guide plate; and a shade that, in a lateral view of the light guide plate and the LED unit, covers a gap between the LED unit and the light guide plate, and seals a gap between the display panel and the support plate.

Image display device

An image display apparatus includes a display panel including a front surface on which an image is displayed, a base plate disposed behind the display panel, a light guide plate disposed between the display panel and the base plate, a light source, a light source cover, and a corner component. The light source is disposed along an edge of the base plate, and emits light incident on an edge face of the light guide plate. The light cover is elongated and covers a front of the light source. The corner component is disposed along a corner of the base plate, laterally supports the display panel, and includes a portion that overlaps the light source cover in a front to back direction.

Image display apparatus

An image display apparatus includes: a display panel; a back frame including a flat portion and a side wall; light sources arranged in rows and columns at substantially equal intervals in the flat portion; support pins arranged in rows and columns at substantially equal intervals in the flat portion and away from the light sources; a diffuser panel diffusely emitting light from the light sources toward the display panel; and a luminance-equalizing sheet that is supported on the support pins, between the diffuser panel and the back frame, has an outer edge substantially overlapping an outer edge of an active area of the display panel, and transmits part of the light from the light sources toward the diffuser panel. The luminance-equalizing sheet protrudes in a curved manner toward the side wall between the diffuser panel and the side wall such that distance to the back frame gradually decreases outward.

An image display apparatus includes: a display panel; a rear frame which is plate-shaped and located on a back side of the display panel; a plurality of LED sheets which are attached to the rear frame, and on which components, which are light sources for illuminating the display panel from the back side of the display panel, are mounted; and a relay sheet which is flexible and provided with wiring for relaying power to be supplied to the plurality of LED sheets.

A display device includes: a display panel that displays an image; a plurality of mount boards having long-length shaped disposed along the display panel; and light emitting elements arrayed on each of the plurality of mount boards in a longitudinal direction of each of the plurality of mount boards. The light emitting elements emit light toward the display panel from behind the display panel, and are arranged in a matrix shape along the display panel. The display device further includes: a back surface board on which the plurality of mount boards is stuck by an adhesive member; and a reflective sheet mounted to the back surface board. The reflective sheet has holes that allow the light emitting elements to pass through at positions corresponding to the light emitting elements, and reflects the light emitted from the light emitting elements toward the display panel. Each of the plurality of mount boards is constituted of a flexible wiring board.

A display device includes a display panel, a plurality of light-emitting sources arranged in a matrix and mounted on a back plate to project light towards the display panel, a reflection sheet attached to the back plate and having holes into which the light-emitting sources are inserted, and a plurality of protrusions formed on the back plate for causing portions of the reflection sheet to bulge out toward the display panel.
