A control unit requests a power supplying apparatus for a third voltage that is N times a first voltage. In a case where an external apparatus is connected to the connection unit after the request for the third voltage, the control unit requests the power supplying apparatus to supply a fourth voltage that is N times a second voltage in response to receiving, from the external apparatus, an instruction for setting the second voltage as a voltage to be output from the electronic apparatus to the external apparatus. The second voltage is higher than the first voltage.

A battery pack that is connectable to an electronic device is disclosed. The battery pack includes positive terminals, negative terminals, and a cutting unit. The cutting unit cuts a current that flows from a battery cell to the electronic device in a case where the current flowing from the battery cell to the electronic device exceeds a maximum current value. The battery pack further includes a control unit that changes the maximum current value based on the number of positive terminals and negative terminals that are connected to the electronic device.

A first remaining usable time of the electronic apparatus is calculated based on a consumed current of the electronic apparatus. A second remaining usable time of the electronic apparatus is calculated based on a discharged current of the secondary battery. The first remaining usable time calculated by the first remaining usable time calculating unit or the second remaining usable time calculated by the second remaining usable time calculating unit, whichever is smaller, is selected, and then a displaying unit displays the selected remaining usable time.
