A cover part of an optical fiber is sandwiched and pressed between a pressure welding blade and a bottom surface part. As a result of this, in a case where an external force which pulls out the optical fiber from a housing, movement of the optical fiber is suppressed by a pressing force, which makes it difficult for a ferrule to go away from a mating optical fiber. Thus, efficiency in communication with the mating optical connector can be improved.

There is provided an electric braking device for a vehicle, which includes a brake caliper which is provided to a wheel, a pressing member which is provided to the brake caliper and is driven to press a friction member to a rotary member fixed to the wheel, an electric motor which is a power source to drive the pressing member, an electric power/signal line which supplies electric power to the electric motor or allows a first electric circuit provided in a vehicle body to communicate with a second electric circuit provided in the brake caliper, and a connector which relays the electric power line. The connector includes a terminal joining portion which joins one terminal and another terminal to each other, and the one terminal and the another terminal are made of metal. The terminal joining portion is positioned inside the brake caliper.

An optical connector includes a ferrule connected to an optical fiber cable, a housing for containing the ferrule, a ferrule holding member attached in the housing, and a spring member that urges the ferrule toward the housing. The ferrule holding member includes a support portion which restricts movement of the ferrule toward the tip side of the housing, a fiber insertion groove formed on the ferrule holding member for containing the optical fiber, a crimped portion which is provided on a rear portion of the ferrule holding member. A crimping member is attached to the crimped portion for fixing at least one of a high-tensile-strength wire and an outer sheath of the optical fiber cable. The spring member is attached to the ferrule holding member.

A shield connector comprises: a shield terminal including a shield shell unit and a shield crimping portion, the shield crimping portion being configured to be crimped on a shield sheath wire of a shielded cable; a cable holder attached to the shield shell unit, the cable holder being configured to hold a core wire of the shielded cable; and a connector housing with a pressure-contact terminal fixed thereto, and being attached to the shield shell unit to which the cable holder is attached, the pressure-contact terminal coming into pressure contact with the core wire by movement of the pressure-contact terminal when attaching the connector housing to the shield shell unit.
