In a headrest, a first connecting portion, including a first link and a second link relatively rotatably supported to the first link, is provided between a base portion and a receive portion movable between a first and second positions adjacent to/separate from the base portion. A drive portion drives the first connecting portion through a drive input portion provided at least either one of the first and second links by applying a driving force to the drive input portion in a moving direction of the receive portion toward the second position. First and second end portions of the first link are supported by the base portion and the receive portion through first and second pivot points. First and second end portions of the second link are slidably connected to first and second guide portions respectively provided at the base portion and the receive portion through first and second connecting points.

Headrest

A headrest device includes a fixed base, a movable base disposed forward relative to the fixed base, at least one first link being rotatably supported by a connecting shaft provided between the movable base and the fixed base, at least one second link being supported by the connecting shaft so as to rotate relative to the first link, a connection portion connecting the movable base and the fixed base to be relatively movable by a relative rotation between the first link and the second link, a drive portion relatively rotating the first link and the second link in a direction so as to deploy the movable base away from the fixed base on the basis of a detected result by a rear-end collision detection means, and at least one relative rotation restricting portion provided for restricting a relative rotation between the first link and the second link about the connecting shaft.

Headrest device

A headrest device includes a headrest provided over a seatback of a seat, a sliding means for slidably adjusting the seat in back and forth directions, a position-adjusting means for adjusting position of the headrest, and a connecting mechanism connecting the sliding means and the position-adjusting means. The connecting mechanism operates the position-adjusting means in conjunction with operation of the sliding means. The connecting mechanism moves in a first direction when the sliding means moves forward, and the connecting mechanism moves in a second direction when the sliding means moves backward.

A seat slide device which includes a lower rail fixed to a vehicle floor, an upper rail fitted into the lower rail to be slidable relative to the lower rail for supporting a seat, a lock device for fixing the upper rail at an arbitrary position of the lower rail, a lock lever provided in the lock device and rotatably supported on the upper rail, a lock bore formed on the lower rail, a pawl provided on the lock lever for being able to be inserted into the lock bore, and an energy absorbing bore provided on the lower rail and arranged in series with the lock bore and separated from the lock bore by a predetermined distance.

Seat slide device for vehicle

A seat slide device for a vehicle includes a lower rail, an upper rail and a shoe. The shoe includes a base portion attached to an engaging portion of one of the rails and a slide portion slidable along an engaged portion of the other rail. The slide portion and the base portion are integrally formed with one another. The slide portion contacts the base portion when a load equal to or greater than a predetermined load is applied, and the base portion has a surface possessing a shape which increases the contact area with the slide portion when the load increases.

Seat slide device

A vehicle seat unit with a forwardly tiltable seat cushion which is easy to handle and which is capable of being fastened securely to a vehicle floor. A pair of hook members provided at the rear portion of the seat cushion are engageable with and disengageable from a pair of strikers fixed to the vehicle floor and a pair of stop pins provided on the vehicle floor are engageable with and disengageable from another pair of hook members provide at the front portion of the seat cushion through handles, respectively.

Movable members 8, 51 and 231 operating in response to up and down movement of a seat cushion 1 and a switching means 4 able to abut against the movable members 8, 51 and 231 are provided, performing occupant detection based on the on/off operation of the switching means 4 by means of the movement operation of the movable members 8, 51 and 231 accompanying a fall of the seat cushion 1.

Seat structure for vehicles with occupant detector

In a seat sliding device, an upper rail slidably moveable relative a lower rail interlocks with the lower rail upon movement of the upper rail away from the lower rail. An upwardly inclined portion and a downwardly inclined portion can be provided on the upper rail and the lower rails, respectively. A spacer element is provided between the upwardly inclined portion of the upper rail and a corner of the lower rail. The inclined portions and the spacer elements interlock upon movement of the upper rail away from the lower rail. Due to sufficient area being provided between the interlocking portions, separation of the upper rail from the lower rail can be prevented.

Seat sliding device

A spring coupler comprises a casing, a drive member rotatably mounted within the casing including a main portion and a core portion fixedly connected thereto by staking manner, a driven member rotatably mounted within the casing including a main portion and a core portion fixedly connected thereto by stacking manner and engageable with the core portion of the drive member upon rotation thereof, and a coil spring disposed between the drive member and the casing so as to be engaged frictionally with the casing in the free state thereof and including a first tang and a second tang. In this spring coupler, the first tang and the second tang of the coil spring are engaged with the core portion of the drive member in rotation in one direction and the other direction respectively before the drive member is brought into engagement with the core of the driven member thereby reducing the radius of the coil spring whereas the first tang and the second tang of the coil spring are engaged with the core portion of the driven member in rotation in one direction and the other direction respectively, thereby expanding the radius of the coil spring. The main portion and the core portion are fixedly connected with each other by staking manner so that less time and less cumbersome operations are required for assembling the drive member and/or the driven member.

Spring coupler

A seat slide assembly includes a rail mechanism for slidably supporting a seat on a floor fixedly connected to the floor, an actuating means fixed connected to the rail mechanism through a bracket for actuating the rail mechanism, a bolt member fixed to the rail mechanism by welding and supporting on the bracket, a nut member for fixing the rail mechanism to the bracket by screwing with the bolt member, a groove formed on the nut member, a flange portion formed on the rail mechanism for supporting the nut member, and a projecting portion formed on the flange portion and fixedly inserted into the groove.

Seat slide assembly

A slide locking device for a car seat, provided with a pair of lock plates fixed to a car body and having a plurality of locking retained portions, a pair of lock levers each having an engaging portion engageable with one of the retaining portions, and a pair of lock shafts for swingably supporting the lock levers, so that between the lock levers is stretched one tension coil spring for biasing the engaging portion of each lock lever in the direction of engaging with the retained portion at each lock plate.

A power seat apparatus includes a seat driving mechanism for supporting a seat member. Upon adjustment of the position of the seat member, the rotational torque is transmitted to the seat driving mechanism via a cable which passes through a protection tube. A power seat apparatus for an automotive vehicle in which a screw shaft supported on an upper rail having a seat cushion fastened thereto is moved relative to a lower rail secured to the vehicle body by a speed reducer and motor fixedly mounted on the lower rail. A coupling is provided for coupling an input shaft of the speed reducer and an output shaft of the motor. The input shaft has a longitudinally extending first groove at a distal end thereof, and the coupling has a first wall portion at one end for being inserted into the first groove.
