A cam of a variable valve device is provided with a change region, which is a region with which a roller abuts when a control shaft is displaced in an axial direction to change a maximum lift amount and in which a cam surface is inclined such that a diameter of the cam gradually increases toward one side in a rotation direction. The cam is provided with a retainer region with which the roller abuts when a position of the control shaft in the axial direction is retained to retain the maximum lift amount. An inclination angle of the cam surface in the retainer region is smaller as the maximum lift amount when the action member abuts with the retainer region is larger.

Variable valve device for internal combustion engine

A battery pack includes a plurality of battery modules; at least one space that is formed between the battery modules that are adjacent to each other, and that serves as a flow path for a heat carrier; and a plurality of protrusions that protrude toward an inside of the space, and that are arranged on surfaces of opposing surfaces that oppose each other and that define the space. The plurality of protrusions that are arranged on one surface of the opposing surfaces and the plurality of protrusions that are arranged on the other surface of the opposing surfaces are arranged in positions that oppose each other across the space.

Battery pack

An electric storage apparatus has a plurality of electric storage units placed in line in a first direction, and a spacer forming space between two adjacent ones of the electric storage units, a heat exchange medium for use in temperature adjustment of the electric storage unit being moved in the space in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The spacer has a protruding portion on each of two faces forming the space and opposite to each other, the protruding portion protruding toward the inside of the space. The protruding portions provided on the two respective faces are shifted in the second direction from positions where the protruding portions are opposite to each other in the first direction.
