A battery device comprises a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery provided with an electric power generating element and a pressing member which presses the electric power generating element in the stacking direction. The electric power generating element comprises: a positive electrode with a positive electrode active material layer of a positive electrode active material on the surface of a positive electrode collector; a negative electrode with a negative electrode active material layer of a negative electrode active material on the surface of a negative electrode collector; and a separator which holds an electrolyte solution. This battery device satisfies (1) 0.1<(T1−T2)/T1×100<5, where T1 is the thickness of the thickest portion of the electric power generating element in the stacking direction, and T2 is the thickness of the thinnest portion of the of the electric power generating element in the stacking direction.

Battery device

To provide an electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which retains the shape while retaining a discharge capacity at a high rate. An electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery has a current collector and an electrode active material layer arranged on a surface of the current collector, and is used for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a liquid volume coefficient of 1.4 to 2.0, in which the electrode active material layer includes an electrode active material and a binder including polyvinylidene fluoride (PVdF), and the polyvinylidene fluoride (PVdF) is in a non-crystallized state and is included in the range of 0.5 to 3.3% by volume with respect to the total volume of the electrode in the electrode active material layer.

Electrode for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery

An electrode for a secondary cell includes a current collector and an electrode layer. The electrode layer has a gas flow passage disposed on the surface and/or in the interior of the electrode layer. The gas flow passage extends in the in-plane direction of the electrode layer. The electrode layer is made from an electrode layer forming material that contains an electrode active material and an ion conductive liquid and is a non-bonded body. A secondary cell comprises a power generation element having an electrolyte layer, a positive electrode disposed on a first surface side of the electrolyte layer, and a negative electrode disposed on a second surface side on the back of the first surface side of the electrolyte layer; and an outer casing that houses the power generation element. At least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode is the electrode for a secondary cell.

An electrode for a cell includes a resin current collector that is planate and contains a resin and an electrically conductive filler, and an electrode active material layer that is disposed on at least one surface side of the resin current collector and that contains electrode active material particles. The resin current collector includes an electrically conductive layer on its surface side facing the electrode active material layer, the electrically conductive layer having configuration with recesses and projections. This configuration with recesses and projections satisfies the relationship given by formula (1): h/tan &#x3b8;&#x3c;D, in which h is the average height of the configuration with recesses and projections, &#x3b8; is the average inclination angle of the configuration with recesses and projections, and D is the average particle diameter of the electrode active material particles. A cell includes the electrode for a cell described above.

An exhaust gas purifying catalyst () of the present invention includes anchor/promoter simultaneous enclosure particles () including catalyst units () which contain: noble metal particles (); and anchor particles () as an anchor material of the noble metal particles () supporting the noble metal particles (); promoter units () which are provided not in contact with the noble metal particles () and contain first promoter particles () having an oxygen storage and release capacity; and an enclosure material () which encloses both the catalyst units () and the promoter units (), and separates the noble metal particles () and the anchor particles () in the catalyst units () from the first promoter particles () in the promoter units (). The exhaust gas purifying catalyst () further includes second promoter particles () which have the oxygen storage and release capacity, and are not enclosed in the anchor/promoter simultaneous enclosure particles () by the enclosure material ().
