An axial displacement judgment device has a first detector acquiring a first detection value from a G sensor which detects an acceleration applied to a radar device, a second detector acquiring a second detection value from a YG sensor which detects the acceleration applied to a vehicle body, and a difference calculator calculating a detection difference value, which is a difference between the first detection value and the second detection value, every first period. The device further has an average difference value calculator calculating an average difference value as an average value of the detection difference values calculated during an acquisition period including the first periods, a deviation calculator calculating a difference standard deviation of the detection difference values calculated during the acquisition period, and a judgment section detecting occurrence of an axial displacement of the radar device based on the average difference value and the difference standard deviation.

Axial displacement judgment device

A determination unit that determines a positional change of a radar apparatus mounted on a vehicle including a vehicle body is provided with a reference member, a displacement sensor and displacement determining means. The reference member is fixed to the vehicle body and disposed such that at least a part of the reference member is adjacent to the radar apparatus. The displacement sensor detects a displacement of the radar apparatus with respect to the reference member. The determining means determines whether or not a position of the radar apparatus has changed with respect to the vehicle body, based on the displacement detected by the displacement sensor.

Apparatus for determining displacement of radar apparatus

A radar apparatus detects a target that has reflected radar waves on the basis of each of object signals that have been passed, and detects a detection angle that is an angle formed between the target and a specified reference axis. The radar apparatus determines, as an angle correction value, for a target which is disposed at a set distance from the radar apparatus in such a manner that an angle formed between the target and the reference axis becomes a specified angle, a difference between the specified angle and a detection angle that is detected based on a plurality of object signals that pass through the filters by transmitting and receiving radar waves for the target, and stores the determined angle correction value in a storage unit.

Radar apparatus and inspection system

A method of fabricating an electronic device is provided, where the electronic device includes a port, an A/D converter, a memory, and a determination circuit. The determination circuit is configured to determine whether or not there is an abnormality by comparing an A/D converted value as a result of the A/D converter converting a voltage based on a power-supply voltage inputted to the port with a limit value stored in the memory. The method includes a step of inputting a predetermined voltage to the port of the electronic device to be fabricated, and a step of recording an A/D converted value as a result of the A/D converter converting a voltage based on the predetermined voltage inputted to the port as the limit value in the memory.

Method of fabricating electronic device and limit value setting apparatus

A first step sets a second inclination angle of a housing to an angle different from a reference housing angle by a limit angle; drives an actuator to set a first inclination angle to an angle different from a substrate inclination angle by the limit angle such that a beam axis is kept to be oriented to a specified direction; and measures, based on transmission and reception of a radar beam, first received power. A second step drives the actuator to set the first inclination angle to an angle located outside the adjustment range by a predetermined additional angle while the first inclination angle is maintained; and measures, based on transmission and reception of the radar beam, second received power. A third step determines whether a difference between the first received power and the second received power is greater than a predetermined determination threshold, and checks an operating state of the actuator based on a result of the determination.

Checking method and system for radar device

A peak detecting threshold determining method is provided which determines a peak detecting threshold which is used by an FMCW radar in detecting a peak frequency component which appears as representing a target object in a frequency spectrum. A CW radar wave is transmitted to produce a CW noise spectrum. An offset is added to frequency components in a high-frequency region of the CW noise spectrum to define a first distribution as a value of the peak detecting threshold. This enables the value of the peak detecting threshold in the high-frequency region to be determined with high precision by reflecting a receiver noise containing a leakage noise.

A radome covers an antenna substrate of a millimeter-band radar apparatus, with a partition wall formed integrally in the radome separating the internal space of the radome into a first internal space, located in correspondence with a transmitting antenna section, and a second internal space, located in correspondence with a receiving antenna section. Increased isolation between transmission and reception is achieved thereby, by reducing the amount of transmitted radar waves which directly reach the receiving antenna section.

Four rows on one side of linear arrays arranged at equal intervals in the vertical direction and arranged at a predetermined interval in the horizontal direction form transmission channels and remaining twelve rows form a reception channel group. Among the remaining twelve rows, linear arrays of four rows in the center form a reception-first-array with each row set as a channel unit. Linear arrays of eight rows on both sides form a reception-second-array with two rows set as a channel unit. In wide-angle-middle-detection-processing, signals are combined using the reception-first-array. In long-detection-processing, signals are combined using the reception-second-array. Second null of a radiation pattern by a transmission array and first null of the reception-second-array are matched. The first null of the transmission array is filled such that a gain difference between the first null and a first side lobe of the transmission array is within a predetermined value.

Radar apparatus and antenna device

In an azimuth detecting apparatus, a receiver includes a plurality of first antenna elements and a second antenna element. The first antenna elements are arranged at first intervals dto form an array. The second antenna element is arranged to define a second interval dbetween itself and one of the first antenna elements which is located at an end of the array, where dis less than d. A first azimuth detector detects, within a first azimuth detection area whose angular range is defined by d, the azimuth of a target based on the signals generated by all the first antenna elements. A second azimuth detector detects, within a second azimuth detection area whose angular range is defined by d, the azimuth of the target based on the signals generated by the second antenna element and the first antenna element located at the end of the array.

Azimuth detecting apparatus and radar apparatus

In an azimuth detecting apparatus, a receiver includes antenna elements arranged at predetermined intervals d. A first signal producer produces, based on reception signals generated by the antenna elements, first signals which are equivalent to signals generated by antenna elements arranged at first intervals d, dbeing an integral multiple of d. A second signal producer produces, based on the reception signals, second signals which are equivalent to signals generated by antenna elements arranged at second intervals d, dbeing an integral multiple of d and greater than d. A first azimuth detector detects, within a first azimuth detection area whose angular range is defined by d, the azimuth of the target based on the first signals. A second azimuth detector detects, within a second azimuth detection area whose angular range is defined by d, the azimuth of the target based on the second signals.

In a radar apparatus, a laser light generating device generates a laser light. An optical device reflects the laser light to output it in a predetermined direction. The optical device has at least two reflective surfaces with different reflectance to the laser light. A reflected light detecting device detects a reflected light when the laser light is reflected by an object. An object detecting device detects the object based on the reflected light. An intensity changing device changes an intensity of the outputted laser light by switching the reflective surfaces. Thus, it can be prevented that an intensity of the reflected light becomes too large and an accuracy of detection of the object can be improved.

Radar apparatus

An object detecting apparatus for detecting an object or a distance with the object includes at least one light receiving element for detecting a light quantity entering from a sensor window portion for example, a projection window portion and an entrance window portion through which an electromagnetic wave from an electromagnetic wave generation portion toward an object and a reflected electromagnetic wave from the object pass. Furthermore, an irregularity determining portion determines a state of at least one of the projection window portion and the entrance window portion using at least the detected light quantity of the light receiving element. For example, the light receiving element includes a first light receiving portion and a second light receiving portion which receive the light quantities of direct current part of light entering from the first and second light receiving portions.
