A vehicle power supply system includes: a main battery; a sub-battery with output voltage; a power converter having an input end connected to the main battery and an output end connected to a motor and converting output power of the main battery to driving power for the motor; a voltage converter connected between the main battery and the sub-battery and stepping down the voltage of the main battery to the voltage of the sub-battery; a charging inlet connected to the main battery and connecting to a power supply device outside a vehicle; a capacitor connected between a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the input end; and a coil connected between the main battery and the voltage converter. The coil is connected to the capacitor not via a charging power path from the charging inlet to the main battery.

Vehicle power supply system

A cover accommodates a power converter receiving high voltage. A connector assembling portion to which a connector of an external power line is assembled is arranged external to the cover and secured by a securing member to a vehicle's main body. A support member is arranged at a lower surface of the cover and connector assembling portion, rather than that portion of casing connecting the connector assembling portion and the power converter's main body, between the cover and the connector assembling portion and thus binds them together.

Power conversion device and vehicle equipped therewith

An electrically insulating member is provided between a bus bar of an IPM and a nearby casing so as to electrically insulate the casing from the bus bar of the IPM. Above the portion where electrical insulation is necessary, a bracket provided for supporting a component-to-be supported is secured to the casing. The electrically insulating member is attached to a lower portion of the bracket that is an existing component.

An interlock device includes an upper lid provided such that an inverter unit cannot be exposed and having a shape accommodating a housing, an interlock detecting terminal electrically connected to the housing when being in contact therewith and electrically disconnected from the housing when losing contact therewith, a bolt for fixing the upper lid to the housing, and a bracket for restricting a motion of the bolt for removal of the upper lid when the interlock detecting terminal is in contact with the housing.
