An electronic component handler includes a first holder that is movable in a first direction and a second direction different from the first direction and is capable of holding an electronic component, a second holder that is movable in the first direction and the second direction independently of the first holder and is capable of holding the electronic component, a light irradiation section that is arranged so as to be capable of irradiating an electronic component placement portion on which the electronic component is placed with light through a gap between the first holder and the second holder, and an imaging section that is capable of imaging the electronic component placement portion irradiated with the light in the first direction, and determines whether or not the electronic component is placed on the electronic component placement portion based on the imaging result obtained by imaging by the imaging section.

Electronic component handler and electronic component tester

An electronic component handler includes: a transport unit which transports an electronic component; a region where an electronic component placement unit on which the electronic component is placed is capable of being disposed; a light irradiation unit which is capable of emitting light and capable of adjusting an irradiation direction of the light with respect to the electronic component placement unit; a processing unit which performs determination processing about the presence or absence of the electronic component in the electronic component placement unit based on at least one of a projection shape and an irradiation position of the light projected to the electronic component placement unit; and a display unit which displays an image having the projection shape.

An electronic component handler includes: a placing plate on which an electronic component can be placed; a camera which picks up an image of the placing plate; a light source of a laser beam which casts the laser beam on the placing plate; and a processor for determining whether the electronic component is placed on the placing plate or not and which controls working of the camera and the light source of the laser beam when the processor carries out determination. When determining whether the electronic component is placed on the placing plate or not, the processor causes the camera to pick up an image of the placing plate in a state where the light source of the laser beam is casting the laser beam on the placing plate, and determines whether the electronic component is placed or not, based on a boundary of luminance in the image.

An electronic component handler includes a region where an electronic component placing unit on which an electronic component is placed is capable of being disposed. A transport unit includes a first hand and a second hand for holding and transporting the electronic component. A light irradiation unit is capable of emitting light toward the electronic component placing unit and is capable of adjusting an emitting direction of the light. A capturing unit is capable of capturing an image of the electronic component placing unit irradiated with the light via a space between the first hand and the second hand. A control unit performs determination processing about the presence or absence of the electronic component in the electronic component placing unit based on the image captured by the capturing unit.

An image recording apparatus includes: a heating section which is located further on the downstream side of a transport pathway than an image recording area, but further on the upstream side of the transport pathway than a transport roller which is rotated by a motor; and a control section which lowers the suction power of a suction section to a medium from a first suction power to a second suction power lower than the first suction power during a recording operation and makes a first torque which is generated at the motor in a period which is during the recording operation and in which the suction power of the suction section is a suction power lower than the first suction power, be lower than a second torque which is generated at the motor during a transport operation.

Image recording apparatus and image recording method

An image recording apparatus includes: a transport unit that transports a medium, which includes a recording material one side of which is a recording layer for an image and the other side of which is an adhesive layer and also includes a separating material covering the adhesive layer, along a transport path using a plurality of transport rollers; a recording unit that records an image on the medium; and a heating unit that fixes the image recorded on the medium. In the image recording apparatus, there are sequentially provided two units of the transport rollers in the transport path, the two transport rollers respectively make contact with different surfaces of the medium, and the outer diameter of one of the transport rollers is different in size from the outer diameter of the other of the transport rollers.

A droplet ejection apparatus includes: a base; a plotting system having a droplet ejection head that ejects functional liquid as a droplet, a carriage that holds the droplet ejection head, and a stage that holds a work at which the droplet is plotted; and an optical system having a light source that outputs a laser beam and an optical path, which is constituted between the light source and the droplet and through which the laser beam passes to irradiate the droplet; wherein: the plotting system and the optical system are established on the base sharing the upper surface of the base as a reference surface, and pattern is plotted and fixed through cooperation control of both systems.
