A laser light source device includes a semiconductor laser, a current supplying unit to supply a driving current to the semiconductor laser, and a signal generator to generate current intensity data for setting an intensity of the driving current. The signal generator generates, for an input signal corresponding to continuous pixels for a same color, a plurality of sets of the current intensity data indicating current intensities different from each other, and transmits the plurality of sets of the current intensity data to the current supplying unit while sequentially switching the plurality of sets of the current intensity data. The current supplying unit drives the semiconductor laser based on the plurality of different sets of the current intensity data.

Laser light source device and display apparatus

A light source device includes a laser light source, a first adjustment mechanism, a second adjustment mechanism, and a mirror. The laser light source emits laser light. The first adjustment mechanism is configured such that the laser light from the laser light source is incident thereto, and performs an emission angle adjustment of the laser light and a focus adjustment of the laser light. The second adjustment mechanism is configured such that the laser light from the first adjustment mechanism is incident thereto, and performs a positional adjustment of the incident laser light. The mirror is configured such that the laser light from the second adjustment mechanism is incident thereto, and emits the incident laser light in a predetermined direction. An image display apparatus includes the above light source device.

Light source device and image display apparatus

An image display device includes a light source, a screen, an optical system and a driving unit. The screen is irradiated with light from the light source to form an image. The optical system generates a virtual image with the light from the screen. The driving unit moves the screen in an optical axis direction. The driving unit includes a holder, one or more elastic members and a driving source. The holder holds the screen. The one or more elastic members support the holder so as to enable the holder to reciprocally move in the optical axis direction. The driving source generates force for moving the holder in the optical axis direction.

Image display device

An image display device includes a laser light source, a controller, a temperature acquisition unit, and an image forming unit. The laser light source emits a plurality of laser beams including a red laser beam, a green laser beam, and a blue laser beam. The controller controls lighting of the laser light source. The temperature acquisition unit obtains temperature information with respect to the laser light source. The image forming unit creates an image from the plurality of laser beams emitted from the laser light source. The controller varies a light output ratio between the plurality of laser beams, based on the temperature information obtained by the temperature acquisition unit.

An image display device includes a light source, a screen, an optical system, a screen driving mechanism unit, a memory unit, and a screen driving circuit unit. An image is formed on the screen by being irradiated with light from the light source. The screen driving mechanism unit moves the screen in an optical axis direction of the light. A smoothed movement profile is obtained by smoothing a movement profile used as a target for moving the screen so as to make a moving speed of the screen vary gently. The memory unit stores screen driving waveform information that has been generated so that the screen follows the smoothed movement profile. The screen driving circuit unit drives the screen driving mechanism unit, based on the screen driving waveform information stored in the memory unit.

An image display device includes a light source that emits a light beam, a screen, a scanning section that scans the screen with the light beam, an optical system, a drive section, and a screen drive circuit. The optical system generates a virtual image by using the light beam that has passed through the screen. The drive section moves the screen at least in parallel to a travel direction of the light beam. The screen drive circuit contains a drive signal table that stores an information group for use in generating a drive signal tailored to stop the screen at different stop locations over different stop periods. The screen drive circuit selects first information in the drive signal table which is associated with displaying of an image and supplies the drive section with a first drive signal generated from the first information.

An image display apparatus improves usability for a user in the case where a screen image is projected on a ceiling as a screen. The image display apparatus includes: a projection unit capable of vertically changing a projection angle; a projection angle detector detecting the projection angle of the projection unit; and a screen image corrector reversing a projected screen image. The screen image corrector switches the projected screen image from a reversed display to a standard display when the projection angle detected by the projection angle detector is less than or equal to a predetermined value.

A wiring board of the present invention has a terminal section and a wiring section connected to the terminal section. The terminal section is configured so as to have a plurality of long connection terminals placed at predetermined intervals along a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the wiring board is to be inserted; and short connection terminals arranged between adjacent long connection terminals so as to be located behind the respective long connection terminals with respect to the direction of insertion. At least one adjacent pair consisting of a long connection terminal and a short connection terminal is short-circuited, and the length of the thus-short-circuited short connection terminal is made shorter than non-short-circuit short connection terminals.
