The present invention provides an organic electroluminescence device capable of having not only a device lifetime comparable to that of an existing organic electroluminescence device but also a small thickness of smaller than 10 μm and excellent flexibility. The present invention relates to an organic electroluminescence device having a structure including: an anode; a cathode on a substrate; and a laminate of multiple layers between the anode and the cathode, the device having a thickness of smaller than 10 μm.

Organic electroluminescent element

The present invention provides an organic electroluminescence device having excellent luminous efficiency and excellent luminance. The present invention relates to an organic electroluminescence device including a structure in which a plurality of layers is laminated between an anode and a cathode formed on a substrate; wherein the organic electroluminescence device includes a metal oxide layer between the anode and the cathode; and a nitrogen-containing film layer having an average thickness of not less than 0.1 nm but less than 3 nm adjacent to the metal oxide layer and disposed on an anode side.

An organic thin film at least includes: a first material which is an organic material having an acid dissociation constant pKa of 1 or greater; and a second material which transports an electron. One embodiment of the present invention is an organic electroluminescence display, including: a substrate with a partition wall between adjacent organic electroluminescence elements; a first electrode layer formed on the substrate; a hole transport layer formed on both the first electrode layer and the partition wall; an underlayer formed on the hole transport layer; a first light emitting layer formed on the underlayer, emitted light from the first light emitting layer having a first wavelength; a second light emitting layer formed so as to partially overlap the first light emitting layer, emitted light from the second light emitting layer having a second wavelength, and the second wavelength being longer than the first wavelength; and a second electrode layer, wherein overlapping point of the first light emitting layer and the second light emitting layer is above the partition wall.

Organic electroluminescence display and method for manufacturing the same

One embodiment of the present invention is a method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescence device, including forming an organic light emitting layer by a relief printing method, the method including transferring an organic light emitting material ink from an ink supplier to a printing plate, and subsequently transferring the organic light emitting material ink from the printing plate to a substrate, wherein a solvent of the organic light emitting material ink comprises a solvent having a vapor pressure over 500 Pa at 20-25 degrees Celsius, and wherein the time between the reception of the ink by the printing plate and the transfer of the ink to the substrate is equal to or less than 5 seconds.

Method for manufacturing organic electroluminescence device

A method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescence display includes forming a first electrode, forming an organic light emitting medium layer including an organic light emitting layer on the first electrode, the respective organic light emitting medium layers including respective organic light emitting layers having different life-times in light emitting, and forming a second electrode on the organic light emitting medium layer, wherein the organic light emitting layer having a longer life-time is formed earlier.
