A bearing roller chain includes a tubular bush configured to interconnect link plates facing each other, a tubular metal-made roller through which the bush is inserted, a plurality of metal-made anti-friction rollers arranged between an inner circumferential surface of the roller and an outer circumferential surface of the bush, and annular nonmetallic restraint members fitted into openings at the opposite ends of the roller in an axial direction, with the bush inserted through the restraint members, the restraint members configured to restrain axial direction movement of the plurality of anti-friction rollers.

There is provided a lifting engagement chain unit that autonomously erects a pair of engagement chains, ensures engagement accuracy between link plates and improves buckling strength. A plurality of buckling restricting attachment plates is arrayed along an outer surface of the engagement chains in a chain longitudinal direction.

Aspects of the invention provide a hoisting and lowering driving engagement multi-row chain in which the weight of the chain is balanced across the chain width direction so as to improve the load balance. This allows the weight of articles to be hoisted and lowered more stably hoisted and at higher positions, and results in an improvement of endurance of the chain, reduction of driving noise, miniaturization of the chain size, while the biasing or deflecting of intermediate tooth plates and inner tooth plates in the chain width direction is suppressed.

Hoisting and lowering driving engagement multi-row chain

A low-noise chain member comprises a bushing, a roller and oil grooves in which a wedge or squeeze effect of a lubricating oil, which is interposed between the bushing and the roller, is effective in reducing noise. The oil grooves are provided on at least one of the outer surface of the bushing and the inner face of the roller. The inner face of the roller is formed with a curved surface so as to conform to the contour of a curved outer surface of the bushing. A clearance between the inner face of the roller and the outer surface of the bushing is not widened around both ends of the roller. Only a small amount of the lubricating oil between the roller and the bushing escapes to the outside, of the roller and bushing, so that a fluid lubricating state between the bushing and the roller is maintained.

Low-noise chain having bushings and rollers with matching curved surfaces to keep fluid disposed therebetween

A roller chain (10) for reducing noise and vibration generated during engagement of the roller chain with a sprocket. The roller chain (10) has a plurality of inner link assemblies, each including a bushing (12) and inner plates (14) connected together and a plurality of outer link assemblies, each including a pin (16) and outer plates (18) connected together with the pins (16) extending through the bushings (12). The roller chain (10) further has rollers (20) respectively fitted on the bushings (12). The rollers (20) are each shorter than the spacing between the opposed inner plates (14). An elastic member (22) is fixed to the inner or outer peripheral surface of each roller (20). The elastic member (22) has projecting portions (24) projecting from both end faces of the roller and facing inside surfaces of the associated inner plates (14) to prevent collision of the roller (20) with the inner plates. In one embodiment, the projecting portions (24) have a shape whose thickness gradually decreases toward the inside surfaces of the inner plates (14). Each projecting portion (24) is formed so as to leave a slight clearance between it and the inside surface of the inner plate (14) opposed thereto. The roller (20) is rotatable on the bushing (12).
