An actuating device is part of a bicycle hydraulic operating system that also includes an additional actuating device and a hydraulic operated device. The hydraulic operated device includes a slave cylinder fluidly connected to an additional master cylinder of the additional actuating device such that operation of an additional operating member of the additional actuating device moves the slave piston. The actuating device includes an operating member, a master cylinder, a master piston and a fluid port. The fluid port fluidly connects the master cylinder to the slave fluid port such that operation of the operating member moves the slave piston. The actuating device has no fluid reservoir. The master cylinder of the actuating device is fluidly connected to the additional master cylinder of the additional actuating device at a point upstream of the fluid port with respect to a flow of hydraulic fluid towards the hydraulic operated device.

Bicycle hydraulic operating system

A bicycle end cap has a first end and a second end that is opposite to the first end for attaching to a bicycle line shape member. The bicycle end cap includes a tubular portion and an attachment structure. The tubular portion is arranged at the first end and defining a receiving space that is dimensioned to axially receive the line shape member from the first end. The attachment structure is configured to attach a pulling member having a cable portion and a head portion that has larger diameter than the cable portion. The attachment structure is configured to position the head portion relative to the tubular portion as the cable portion is pulled toward the second end.

Bicycle end cap

A bicycle hydraulic operating system includes first and second actuating devices and a hydraulic operated device. The first actuating device includes a first operating member, a first master cylinder and a first master piston. The first master piston moves in the first master cylinder in response to operation of the first operating member. The second actuating device includes a second operating member, a second master cylinder and a second master piston. The second master piston moves in the second master cylinder in response to operation of the second operating member. The hydraulic operated device includes a slave cylinder and a slave piston that is movably arranged in the slave cylinder. The slave cylinder has a slave fluid port that is connected to first and second fluid ports of the first and second master cylinders. Operation of either of the first and second operating members moves the slave piston.

An operating assembly for a small vehicle including a bicycle is basically provided with a base member, an operating member, a handlebar fixing structure and a handlebar spacer. The base member includes a support. The operating member is movably coupled to the base member. The handlebar fixing structure is coupled to base member. The handlebar fixing structure defines a handlebar receiving area. The support is spaced from the handlebar receiving area of the handlebar fixing structure in a parallel direction parallel to a handlebar axis defined by the handlebar receiving area. The handlebar spacer is disposed between a handlebar and one of the support and the handlebar fixing structure in a mounted state where the operating device is mounted to the handlebar.

Operating assembly

A protective cap is provided for protecting an end portion of a hydraulic hose of a hydraulic bicycle component. The protective cap is configured to be removably coupled to the end portion of the hydraulic hose. The protective cap comprises a head portion and a cord attachment portion. The cord attachment portion has a through hole for attaching a cord to the protective cap.

Hydraulic bicycle component

A hydraulic bicycle component includes a first section and a first seal rupturing structure. The first section defines a first fluid path. The first seal rupturing structure is disposed in the vicinity of the first fluid path. The first seal rupturing structure is configured to physically rupture a first seal of a first hydraulic hose when the hydraulic bicycle component is coupled to the first hydraulic hose.

A bicycle hydraulic operating system is basically provided with first and second actuating devices and a hydraulic operated device. The first actuating device includes a first operating member, a first master cylinder and a first master piston. The first master piston moves in the first master cylinder in response to operation of the first operating member. The second actuating device includes a second operating member, a second master cylinder and a second master piston. The slave cylinder has a slave fluid port that is connected to first and second fluid ports of the first and second master cylinders. Operation of either of the first and second operating members moves the slave piston.

A bicycle hydraulic hose cap comprises a hose attachment to be detachably attached to an end of a hydraulic hose, and a reservoir including a fluid chamber having a variable internal volume. The fluid chamber is connected to a fluid passageway of the hydraulic hose in an attachment state where the hose attachment is attached to the end of the hydraulic hose.

Bicycle hydraulic hose cap and bicycle hydraulic hose assembly

A bicycle disc brake caliper is basically provided with a first side caliper part, a second side caliper part, a layer of bonding material, a mating recess and a mating protrusion. The first side caliper part includes a first bonding surface. The second side caliper part includes a second bonding surface. The layer of bonding material is disposed between the first and second bonding surfaces of the first and second side caliper parts. The mating recess is disposed on one of the first and second side caliper parts. The mating protrusion is disposed on the other of the first and second side caliper parts and mated with the mating recess. The first and second bonding surfaces of the first and second side caliper parts are fixedly bonded together by the layer of bonding material with a brake disc slot being defined between the first and second side caliper parts.

Bicycle disc brake caliper

A hydraulic bicycle hose structure includes a hydraulic hose and a first seal. The hydraulic hose has a first end with a first opening. The hydraulic hose is configured to be coupled to a hydraulic component. The hydraulic hose is filled with hydraulic fluid. The first seal is arranged to seal the first opening of the first end of the hydraulic hose. The first seal is configured to be physically ruptured.

Hydraulic bicycle hose structure

A disc brake caliper comprises a caliper main body and an insert member. The caliper main body comprises a first portion, a second portion, a connecting portion, a first hole and a second hole. The connecting portion, the first portion and the second portion are formed as a single unitary member. A banjo fixing member is to be attached to the first hole. The second hole is provided apart from the first hole and extending from the first portion to the connecting portion so as to at least partially overlap the slit in the connecting portion. The insert member is configured to be inserted into the second hole. The insert member extends from the first portion to the connecting portion so as to at least partially overlap the slit in the second hole.

A hydraulic bicycle component system includes a hydraulic component and a first seal. The hydraulic component has a fluid path filled with hydraulic fluid. The hydraulic component is configured to be coupled to a hydraulic hose. The first seal is arranged to seal an end of the fluid path of the hydraulic component.

A hydraulic bicycle component kit includes a first hydraulic component and a hydraulic hose. The first hydraulic component has a first fluid path. The hydraulic hose is filled with hydraulic fluid. Hydraulic bicycle component kit

The shaft includes a threaded portion having a diameter, at least one channel defined in the outer surface of the threaded portion, first and second reduced diameter portions defined at least partially circumferentially around the shaft and a blocking portion separating the first and second reduced diameter portions.
