An energy saving support system according to an embodiment is configured to provide a consumer, who has an electric load to which electric energy is supplied from an electric power supply system within a house, with energy consumption-related information through a photo frame or the like. The information providing apparatus is configured to acquire an acceptability level, which stepwise indicates a degree of interest of the consumer in the energy consumption-related information, and to determine the energy consumption-related information to be newly provided to the consumer based on the acceptability level.

Energy saving support system

A power supply management system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a fee setting unit configured to set power fee unit prices (first power fee unit price and second power fee unit price) for each time slot, and a notification unit configured to notify a consumer of information on the set power fee unit prices. The first power fee unit price is a power unit price for a household electrical load, and the second power fee unit price is a power unit price in a case of using a charge/discharge device to charge a vehicle-mounted storage battery. The fee setting unit is configured to set, by predicting a load factor of a transformer, a discount rate of the second power fee unit price to become higher (second power fee unit price to become lower) as the predicted load factor becomes lower. The second power fee unit price is determined on the basis of the first power fee unit price and the discount rate.

Power supply management system

In an apparatus, a norm setter sets, based on a request torque for a rotary machine and a rotational velocity of a rotor, a norm of a vector of an output voltage in a two-phase rotating coordinate system defined in the rotor. A phase setter sets, based on a deviation between a generated torque and the request torque, a phase of the vector of the output voltage of the power converter in the two-phase rotating coordinate system. A drive signal determiner determines, based on the norm set by the norm setter and the phase set by the phase setter, a drive signal, and applies the drive signal to a switching member to thereby drive the switching member such that the generated torque is adjusted to the request torque.

Apparatus for carrying out improved control of rotary machine

A control device has a unit for preparing a pattern having first and second periods by comparing a triangular wave and a sine wave having an amplitude ratio set at each value of a modulation factor, and selecting one pattern corresponding to an instructed modulation factor, and a unit for applying a controlled voltage, set at low and high levels in response to first and second periods of the selected pattern, to a generator. The triangular wave has a cycle duration obtained by dividing the cycle duration of the generator by product of 3 and odd number, a crest having a level higher than the sine wave at a timing of each first period, and a trough having a level lower than the sine wave at a timing of each second period.

Control device for electric rotating machine and method of controlling the machine

In a control system designed to use a plurality of voltage vectors expressing a switching mode for a switching circuit to thereby control a difference between a current actually flowing through a multiphase rotary machine and a command current value therefore within an allowable range, a calculating unit calculates a direction of change in the difference during the switching mode for the switching circuit being set to a zero vector. A zero-vector setting unit sets the switching mode for the switching circuit to the zero vector when a preset positional condition between the difference and the direction of change in the difference is met in a space.

Control system for multiphase rotary machines

A control system is designed to use a plurality of voltage vectors expressing a switching mode for a switching circuit to thereby control a difference between a current actually flowing through a multiphase rotary machine and a command current value therefor within an allowable range. The plurality of voltage vectors include a zero vector that allows line-to-line voltages in the multiphase rotary machine to be all zero, and a plurality of non-zero vectors that allow at least one of line-to-line voltage in the multiphase rotary machine to be nonzero. A drive unit is configured to switch only one phase of the switching element for each shift of the switching mode to thereby shift, in accordance with a preset switching pattern, the switching mode from a specified one of the plurality of non-zero vectors to the specified one of the plurality of non-zero vectors via the zero vector.

In an apparatus, a norm setter sets, based on a request torque for a rotary machine and a rotational velocity of a rotor, a norm of a vector of an a output voltage in a two-phase rotating coordinate system defined in the rotor. In an apparatus, a phase setter sets, based on a deviation between a generated torque and a request torque for a rotary machine, a phase of a vector of a variable output voltage of a power converter in a two-phase rotating coordinate system defined in a rotor of the rotary machine. A norm setter sets, based on the phase set by the phase setter and a rotational velocity of the rotor, a norm of the vector of the output voltage in the two-phase rotating coordinate system. A drive signal determiner determines, based on the phase set by the phase setter and the norm set by the norm setter, a drive signal, and applies the drive signal to the switching member to thereby drive the switching member such that the generated torque is adjusted to a request torque.

A rotating machinery includes a first control member for performing rectangular wave control by operating the switching devices of an inverter such that an on-state and an off-state occur once for one cycle period in electrical angle of a motor, a second control member for operating the switching devices on the basis of a magnitude relation between upper and lower limits of a predetermined hysteresis region and an actual current flowing through the motor, and a switching member for, when the actual current deviates from the hysteresis region while the rectangular wave control is undertaken, switching the control to an instantaneous current value control performed by the second control member.

Rotating machinery controller

A control system controls, based on a comparison between a waved real current to be supplied to a multiphase rotary electric machine and a hysteresis region established by a waved command signal, a switching timing of a switching element of an inverter to which a direct current voltage is applied to thereby match the waved real current with a waved request current. A determining unit determines whether a workload associated with rotation of the portion of the multiphase rotary electric machine is equal to or greater than a corresponding predetermined value. When it is determined that the workload is equal to or greater than the predetermined value, a changing unit changes the waved command signal from being set to the waved request current so as to determine the switching timing of the switching element based on a positional relation between the waved request current and the changed waved command signal.

Control system for multiphase rotary electric machines

In a control system, a storing unit has stored a relationship between a workload associated with rotation of a multiphase rotary electric machine and a voltage utilization factor of the multiphase rotary electric machine. The voltage utilization factor includes information representing how percentage the direct current voltage applied to a switching element is used by the multiphase rotary electric machine. A measuring unit measures change in the workload associated with rotation of the multiphase rotary electric machine. A pulse control unit carries out a single pulse control to change an on duration of the switching element to be substantially equivalent to a half cycle of a cyclic current while continuously changing the voltage utilization factor based on the relationship stored in the storing unit and the measured change of the workload.

An inverter control device controls the operation of an inverter connected to an electric motor. A switching vector SV is determined as an output switching vector SVo to be supplied to the inverter based on a current deviation of the coil winding of each phase of the electric motor and a switching vector determination table. A keeping time TK is calculated based on a torque and a revolution speed of the electric motor. The counting of a time counting is then initiated. In a high revolution speed (TK&#x3e;Selection time TS), the control operation for the inverter returns to a start step after the elapse of a certain time period that is set in advance. In a low revolution speed of the electric motor (TK&#x3c;TS), a zero vector is newly selected as the output switching vector SVo after the elapse of the keeping time TK. The control operation for the inverter then returns to the start step after the elapse of the selection time period TS.

Inverter control device

A semi-rigid integral skin foam having a low foamed integral skin layer and a highly foamed core is molded from a polyurethane formulation injected into a mold cavity having a reduced pressure of 400 Torr or below. The formulation comprises a polyol component, an isocyanate component, and at least one substance selected from among formic acid, an amine salt thereof and an amine salt of boric acid, while not containing any freon.

Process for molding an integral skin foam

A steering wheel with an air bag comprising a pad with said air bag, at least one spoke and a ring, which are integrally formed of a polyurethane, is disclosed. The polyurethane has 50 to 70 of Shore A type hardness (at a temperature of 25&deg; C.) and 150% or more of elongation at break (at a temperature of 25&deg; C.).
