A heat exchanger includes: a plurality of tubes arranged in an up-down direction; and a reinforcing plate arranged on a lower side of a lowermost tube of the plurality of tubes. The reinforcing plate has a bent portion protruding downward and extending along a longitudinal direction of the tube. The bent portion includes at least one discharge hole to discharge a condensed water. The discharge hole is formed by an upstream rib extending from the upper side toward the discharge hole in an upstream region and a downstream rib extending from the upper side toward the discharge hole in a downstream region, and a height dimension of the upstream rib is different from a height dimension of the downstream rib at least partially along a longitudinal direction of the tube.

Heat exchanger

A heat exchanger includes multiple tubes and multiple fins. Each of the tubes has a tubular shape extending in a horizontal direction. Each of the fins is disposed between adjacent ones of the tubes in a vertical direction vertical to the horizontal direction. Each of the fins is corrugated and includes bent portions located near the adjacent ones of the tubes and flat plate portions each of which extends in the vertical direction to connect between two of the bent portions. Each of the fins includes a pair of slits and an offset portion. At least a portion of the pair of slits extends to one of the bent portions. The offset portion is formed by having a portion of each of the fins between the pair of slits recessed inward of the one of the bent portions.

A heat exchanger includes tubes and a header tank. The header tank includes a core plate and a tank body. The core plate includes a tube connection surface and a receiving portion that houses an end portion of the tank body. The receiving portion includes a bottom wall and an inner wall that connects the bottom wall to the tube connection surface. The tube connection surface and the inner wall are connected to a rib. The rib is located between adjacent two tubes and inclined with respect to a longitudinal direction of the tubes. The rib includes one end connected to the tube connection surface and an other end connected to the inner wall. The tubes includes lateral ends in the width direction, and a clearance, which has a specified dimension, is defined between the inner wall and the lateral ends in the width direction.

A heat exchanger includes tubes and a header tank. The tubes are arranged in parallel with each other, and fluid flows in the tubes. The header tank is disposed at end portions of the tubes in a longitudinal direction of the tubes and extends in a direction in which the tubes are arranged in parallel with each other to communicate with the tubes. The header tank includes a core plate, a resin tank main body part, and a resiliently-deformable sealing member. The tubes are joined to the core plate. The tank main body part is fixed to the core plate. The core plate includes a receiving part at which the sealing member is disposed. The tank main body part is fixed to the core plate with the sealing member clamped between an end part of the tank main body part on the core plate-side and the receiving part. The receiving part is disposed on a farther side from the tubes in the longitudinal direction of the tubes than the end portions of the tubes in the longitudinal direction of the tubes.

An inner fin is an offset fin having a wavy cross-section that is perpendicular to an oil flowing direction, and has a louver that is partially cut and bent in a direction parallel with the oil flowing direction. The wavy cross-section is defined by alternately placing first-side convex parts and second-side convex parts. A heat exchanger includes tubes and a tank. The tubes extend in a first direction, and are stacked in a second direction. The tank has a tube insertion plate part, and is arranged at an end portion of the tubes. The tube insertion plate part has tube holes in which the tubes are inserted, and ribs extending in a third direction that is approximately perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction. The tube hole has end portions in the third direction. The rib are arranged to overlap with the end portion of the tube hole in the second direction, and to provide a deformable part to be deformable in the first direction. The deformable part is located in the tube insertion plate part outside of the ribs in the third direction.
