A battery control device controls a battery system including a plurality of battery cells connected in series and a bypass circuit that bypasses each of the battery cells. Discharge is performed from each of the battery cells until remaining quantity of the battery cell decreases to a predetermined value. When the remaining quantity of the battery cell is decreased to the predetermined value, each of the battery cells is bypassed by the bypass circuit. When the remaining quantity of all of the plurality of battery cells is decreased to the predetermined value, discharge is performed from all of the plurality of battery cells.

The storage battery control device includes: a processor; and a memory having instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the storage battery control device to perform operations including: performing a first process of causing the bypass circuit to preferentially bypass, among the storage batteries, a storage battery having a smaller remaining charge amount until completion of charging than those of the other storage batteries, and charging at least one of the storage batteries such that a difference in remaining charge amounts of the storage batteries until completion of charging is reduced; and performing, after the first process, a second process of charging the storage batteries until the charging is completed.

A charging control device charges a battery device, and a control unit that is configured to control a switch and to control charging of the battery device. The control unit estimates a total voltage when each battery is not bypassed in each of the plurality of storage battery systems, selects the storage battery system having a low voltage among the estimated total voltages, and then repeatedly executes selective charging of charging the selected storage battery system so that an estimated total voltage difference between the storage battery system having the low voltage in the estimated total voltage and the storage battery system having a high voltage in the estimated total voltage is less than a predetermined value.

A power feeding control device controls a power feeding system including a plurality of battery cells feeding power to a load, a bypass lines which connects or disconnects each of the battery cells and the load, an external power feeding unit which is connected in parallel with the load and feeds power to the load. Before the bypass line starts switching of a connection state between each of the battery cells and the load, supply voltage from the external power feeding unit to the load is increased. Further, after the bypass line switches the connection state between each of the battery cells and the load, the supply voltage from the external power feeding unit to the load is decreased.

A battery control unit includes a switching unit and a control unit. The switching unit is provided for each of a plurality of batteries connected to in series to each other, and switches a connection state in which the corresponding battery is discharged and a non-connection state in which the corresponding battery is not discharged. The control unit switches the battery to the non-connection state in order from the battery whose remaining dischargeable capacity reaches a predetermined value. Further, the control unit switches all the batteries to the connection state after the remaining dischargeable capacity of all the batteries reaches the predetermined value, and then switch the battery to the non-connection state in order from the battery determined to reach a discharge termination state.

The power supply control device has relationship information indicating a relationship among a discharge current flowing from the power supply device to the load, a discharge current ratio that is a ratio of output currents of the plurality of power supply units, and a power loss of the power supply device, acquires a measured value of the discharge current, obtains, from the relationship information, the discharge current ratio at which the power loss of the power supply device corresponding to the acquired measured value of the discharge current is minimized, and adjusts the discharge current ratio so as to match with the discharge current ratio obtained from the relationship information.

A charging control device is to charge a battery device including a battery group including storage battery systems, in which batteries are connected in series, connected in parallel, system switches and bypass switches. The charging control device includes a control device to control the system switches and the bypass switches to control charging of the battery device. The control device determines an individual charging completion total voltage, obtains system remaining charge predetermined capacities for each of total voltages of the storage battery systems to reach the individual charging completion total voltage, charge the battery systems individually such that each of the total voltages of the first and second storage battery systems reaches the individual charging completion total voltage while making remaining charge capacities of batteries uniform to be the system remaining charge predetermined capacities and perform collective charging of the storage battery systems after individually charging storage battery systems.

Charging control device, battery system and charging control method

A battery control unit includes a switching unit, a system controller, and a control unit. The switching unit switches between a connection state in which the corresponding battery is discharged and a non-connection state in which the corresponding battery is not discharged. The system controller limits a discharge current flowing through the battery in the connection state so as not to exceed a minimum discharge current limitation value that is smallest among discharge current limitation values. The control unit switches to the non-connection state in order from the battery having the minimum discharge current limitation value before the discharge current limitation unit limits the discharge current. Further, the control unit switches all the batteries to the connection state after the batteries in the connection state becomes one, and then switch the battery to the non-connection state in order from the battery determined to reach a discharge termination state.

A battery control unit includes a plurality of battery units, a charger configured to charge a battery, a controller, and a charging controller. Each of the plurality of battery units includes a switching unit. The switching unit is configured to switch between a connected state where the battery configured to be located in the same battery unit as that of the switching unit is connected in series with the battery configured to be located in an adjacent battery unit, and a non-connected state where the battery in the same battery unit as that of the switching unit is disconnected from the series connection with the battery in the adjacent battery unit.

A switching unit is provided for each of a plurality of batteries arranged in series, and switches between a connected state where the corresponding battery is connected in series with another battery and a non-connected state where series connection between the corresponding battery and the other battery is disconnected. A control unit controls the switching unit corresponding to the battery to switch to the non-connected state when it is determined that the corresponding battery reaches a charge end voltage during charging or a discharge end voltage during discharging, and determinates deterioration of the batteries. Further, the control unit changes the charge end voltage or the discharge end voltage for each of the plurality of batteries in accordance with a deterioration state of the plurality of batteries.

A battery control unit includes a plurality of switching units, a first controller, and a plurality of bidirectional voltage converters including a ground terminal, a first, and a second input-output terminal. Each of a plurality of battery packs connected in parallel to each other includes a plurality of batteries connected in series with each other. The plurality of switching units are disposed corresponding to the plurality of batteries respectively, and are configured to switch between a connected state where a corresponding battery among the plurality of batteries is connected in series with non-corresponding battery among the plurality of batteries and a non-connected state where the corresponding battery is disconnected from series connection with the non-corresponding battery.

A battery control unit includes a plurality of switching units, a control unit, a charger configured to charge batteries, and a charging control unit. The plurality of switching units is respectively provided for a plurality of batteries connected in series, and are configured to switch between a connected state and a non-connected state. The connected state is a state that a corresponding battery is connected in series with other batteries and the non-connected state is a state that the corresponding battery is disconnected from a series connection with the other batteries. The control unit is configured to determine whether each voltage of the plurality of batteries reaches a charge end voltage during charging, and to control the switching unit corresponding to the battery which is determined to reach the charge end voltage to switch to the non-connected state.

A plurality of switching units is provided for each of a plurality of batteries. The switching units switch between a connected state where the corresponding battery is connected in series with another battery and a non-connected state where series connection between the corresponding battery and the other battery is disconnected. A control unit controls the switching unit corresponding to the battery to switch to the non-connected state when it is determined that the corresponding battery reaches a charge end voltage during charging or a discharge end voltage during discharging. The control unit changes the charge end voltage such that the charge end voltage of the battery deteriorated is lower than the charge end voltage of the battery not deteriorated, or changes the discharge end voltage such that the discharge end voltage of the battery deteriorated is higher than the discharge end voltage of the battery not deteriorated.

A battery system includes a battery circuit group in which a plurality of battery circuits, each including a plurality of battery units including a battery and a switching unit connected in series, are connected in parallel, and a control unit that controls the switching unit. The switching unit switches a state of the battery unit between a first state, in which the battery is connected between a positive electrode end and a negative electrode end of the battery unit, and a second state, in which the positive electrode end and the negative electrode end are connected without the battery. When discharging, the control unit controls the switching unit such that the state of the battery unit including the battery determined to be not fully discharged becomes the first state, and the state of the battery unit including the battery determined to be fully discharged becomes the second state.
