An open-close member control apparatus has a function to release a foreign matter pinched to an open-close member. The open-close member is either (i) driven only while a manipulation switch is manipulated or (ii) driven continuously once the manipulation switch is manipulated to a specified position regardless of whether the manipulation is then released. When trapping of a foreign matter is detected under an open movement of the open-close member to an open direction based on an open command signal from the manipulation switch, an electric power supply to a motor is restricted to stop a progress of the trapping. When receiving a close command signal from the manipulation switch after restricting the electric power supply, the electric power is supplied to the motor to drive the open-close member to a close direction under a restricted state of a predetermined operation.

Opening and closing member control apparatus and method for controlling opening and closing member

A computing device computes at least one index value for an execution history of opening/closing movement of an openable and closable member. A sensing device outputs signals one after another in response to a change in a rotational state of the electric motor, which is sensed by the sensing device. A setting device sets a masking range for at least one of the signals based on the at least one index value. A determination device determines whether an object is pinched by the openable and closable member based on at least another one of the signals, which is outputted in a range other than the masking range, without referring to the at least one of the signals in the masking range during execution of the opening/closing movement of the openable and closable member.

Openable and closable member control apparatus and vehicle having the same

A microcomputer executes initialization, which causes a memory of the microcomputer to store operational information of a window glass of a door therein in a state where no previous information is stored in the memory. The microcomputer cancels the initialization when an open state signal, which indicates an open state of the door, is outputted from a courtesy switch and/or a door closure. The microcomputer executes the initialization only when a close state signal, which indicates a close state of the door, is outputted from the courtesy switch and/or the door closure.

Window glass control apparatus

A controller computes a pinching amount of an object caused by a window glass. The controller estimates a prior pinching amount of the object caused by the window glass before the controller computes the pinching amount of the object. The controller confirms occurrence of the pinching of the object based on the computed pinching amount and the estimated prior pinching amount of the object.

Closure panel control apparatus

A controller prestores average moving speed data, which corresponds to respective corresponding positions of a window glass of a door driven by a motor at the time of the closing movement of the window glass, as learning data. The controller senses pinching of an object by the window glass based on the learning data and the speed measurement signal obtained at the time of the closing movement of the window glass. The controller senses a disturbance when the speed measurement signal obtained at the time of the closing movement of the window glass exceeds a predetermined value. The controller updates the learning data based on the average moving speed data at the time of the closing movement of the window glass. The controller controls execution and non-execution of updating of the learning data in response to a close state and an open state of the door.

A motor control apparatus for controlling an operation of an electric motor has an operational temperature estimator and an operation controller. The operational temperature estimator estimates an estimated temperature of the electric motor. The operation controller disables to start the operation of the electric motor while the estimated temperature is within a predetermined operation start disable range, and enables to continue the operation of the electric motor when the estimated temperature increases into the operation start disable range.
