A near-infrared cut filter includes a transparent substrate having a first and a second surfaces, opposite to each other; and a dielectric multilayer film disposed on a side of the first surface. The dielectric multilayer film reflects light within a wavelength range of 700-750 nm. A mean regular transmittance Twithin a wavelength range of 700-750 nm measured when light is incident in the normal direction from the side of the second surface is 20% or less. A mean regular transmittance Twithin a wavelength range of 600-680 nm measured when light is incident in the normal direction from the side of the second surface is 65% or more. A mean regular reflectance Rwithin a wavelength range of 700-750 nm measured when light is incident at an angle of 5° with respect to the normal direction from the side of the second surface is 80% or less.

Near-infrared cut filter and imaging apparatus

An optical filter includes: a dielectric multilayer film; a substrate comprising a near-infrared ray absorbing glass and a resin film; and a dielectric multilayer filmin this order. The resin film comprises a near-infrared ray absorbing dye and a resin, the near-infrared ray absorbing glass is a fluorophosphate glass containing P, Cu, and F, and the optical filter satisfies all of the spectral characteristics (i-1) to (i-3), (i-5), and (i-13).

An optical filter includes a first dielectric multilayer film, a resin film, a phosphate glass, and a second dielectric multilayer film. The second dielectric multilayer film includes at least one Hlayer satisfying a refractive index of 1.8 or more and 2.5 or less and a QWOT of 1.1 or more and 3.5 or less, when a layer closest to the phosphate glass in the Hlayers is defined as a first Hlayer, the second dielectric multilayer film comprises a first Mlayer comprising a single layer satisfying a QWOT of 1.2 or more and 1.8 or less or a plurality of layers satisfying a total QWOT of 1.2 or more and 1.8 or less between the first Hlayer and the phosphate glass, and the optical filter satisfies all of the spectral characteristics (i-1) to (i-4).

Optical filter-type glass contains a P component, a Cu component, and Mo component, is substantially free of F, and includes: in mass % on an oxide basis, 60% to 75% of PO; 9% to 16.5% of AlO; 4% to 20% of ΣRO, where RO is one or more components selected from LiO, NaO, KO, RbO, and CsO, and ΣRO is a total amount of RO; 0% to 8% of ΣR'O, where R′O is one or more components selected from CaO, MgO, BaO, SrO, and ZnO, and ΣR′O is a total amount of R′O; more than 7% up to 20% of CuO; and 0.01% to 1.18% of MoO.

A near-infrared cut filter glass has: an average transmittance in a wavelength range of 400-550 nm of 50-92%; a transmittance at a wavelength of 700 nm of 40-92%; an average transmittance in a wavelength range of 850-950 nm of 0.0001-70%; and an average transmittance in a wavelength range of 1200-2500 nm of 0.0001-60%.

An ultraviolet transmitting glass containing, in mole percentage based on oxides, 55 to 80% of SiO, 12 to 27% of BO, 4 to 20% of RO (where R represents an alkali metal selected from a group consisting of Li, Na, and K) in total, 0 to 3.5% of AlO, 0 to 5% of R'O (where R&#x2032; represents an alkaline earth metal selected from a group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba) in total, 0 to 5% of ZnO, and 0 to 10% of ZrO, wherein transmittance at a wavelength of 254 nm in terms of spectral transmittance at a plate thickness of 0.5 mm is 70% or more. The glass with high ultraviolet light transmittance, in particular, high deep ultraviolet light transmittance is provided.

A near-infrared cut filter glass includes: P, Al, R (R represents any one or more of Li, Na, and K), R' (R&#x2032; represents any one or more of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, and Zn), and Cu, and not including F practically, wherein (Cuamount/total Cu amount)&#xd7;100[%] is 0.01 to 7.0%. The filter glass may further include, by mol %, 0 to 10% BO. The filter glass may have a fracture toughness value of the near-infrared cut filter glass is 0.3 MPa&#xb7;mor more. For the filter glass, a quotient obtained by dividing an absorption constant at a wavelength of 430 nm by an absorption constant at a wavelength of 800 nm, of the near-infrared cut filter glass, may be 0.00001 to 0.19.

A process for producing a chemically strengthened glass is provided. The method for producing a chemically strengthened glass includes subjecting a phase-separated glass to an ion exchange treatment.
