A processing device generates a marker image to use as a reference for correcting a shape of a projection image projected on a projection surface from a projector, takes a taken image of the projection surface using the imaging device from an imaging position different from an observation position from which the projection surface is observed, generates a parameter for reducing a distortion of the projection image based on the marker image included in the taken image, displays an area image representing a range wherein projection can be performed on the projection surface on the display device, disposes a video content at an indicating position in the area image with an input to the input device, generates an original image including the video content, and corrects the original image thereby generating an input image for input to a projector configured to project the projection image.

A projector includes: a projection unit which projects content in response to a playback instruction to play back the content; and a transmitting unit which transmits the playback instruction to another projector. The playback instruction includes specification information which specifies the content.

Projector and display system

A projector includes an optical modulation section, a projection section, a driving section driving the optical modulation section, a selection section selecting at least one electronic apparatus, a storage section storing each user name of a plurality of electronic apparatuses, a reception section receiving an input by a user on a projection surface, and a projection image creation section creating a projection image. The projection image creation section reflects an image drawn on the basis of the input received by the reception section onto the projection image, creates a selection image including a user name stored in the storage section, and reflects the selection image onto the projection image. When an input for selecting a user is received, the selection section selects an electronic apparatus corresponding to the selected user on the projection surface onto which the selection image is projected.
