An abnormality detection device includes a measuring unitand a determining unit. The measuring unitmeasures, among a power supply, a capacitor, a load circuit, a switch connecting the power supply to the load circuit, and ground of a vehicle body, which are mounted on a vehicle, a first voltage of the capacitor charged by serially connecting the power supply, the capacitor, and the body ground in a state where the switch is controlled to be turned off. The determining unitdetermines that the switch is not fixed in an ON state and an insulation resistance of the vehicle is normal when the first voltage measured by the measuring unitis less than a first threshold.

Abnormality detection device and method for insulation and welding

A battery monitoring device monitoring a battery unit connecting battery blocks, the battery unit being configured by each of the battery blocks connecting battery cells, includes: a voltage detection circuit connected to each of the plurality of battery cells via a voltage detection line; a first equalization circuit as a circuit provided with at least a first switching element, the first equalization circuit being disposed for each of the battery cells and connected to the corresponding battery cell; a resistor element disposed on the voltage detection line; a second equalization circuit as a circuit provided with at least a second switching element, the second equalization circuit being disposed for each of the battery blocks and connected to the corresponding battery block; and a controller configured to control driving of the switching elements. The second equalization circuit is connected further on the battery block side than the resistor element.

Battery monitoring device

A power-supply monitoring device includes a capacitor that is connected to an insulated electric power source to execute charging/discharging. A power-supply monitoring device including this capacitor forms a charging path for detecting deterioration in an insulation resistance of an electric power source, and detects a voltage of the capacitor when being charged through this charging path. A vehicle controller specifies an abnormal part based on whether or not the voltage of the capacitor detected by the power-supply monitoring device is within a predetermined range.

A power transmitting system for a motor vehicle, including a continuously variable transmission, a reversing device disposed downstream of the transmission, and a hydraulic control apparatus for controlling the transmission. The system includes a device for producing a required output pressure corresponding to a currently required acceleration value of the vehicle, a shift control valve for changing a speed ratio of the transmission, based on at least the required output pressure, such that the input shaft speed of the transmission increases with the currently required acceleration value and is higher when the shift lever is placed in a low-gear position than in a high-gear position, a device for producing a modified speed-ratio pressure which varies with the speed ratio when the speed ratio is higher than a predetermined value, and which is held constant when the speed ratio is lower than the predetermined value, and a device for applying the modified speed-ratio pressure to the shift control valve device in place of the required output pressure while the shift lever is placed in the low-gear position and when the required output pressure is lower than the modified speed-ratio pressure.
