In a rotating electric machine, an axis direction width of a rotor core arranged at an end of a load side of the rotating shaft is set to be γ, an axis direction width of a rotor core arranged at an opposite side end of the load side is set to be ε, a distance from a support part at the load side to the rotor core at the load side is set to be α, and a distance from a support part at the opposite side of the load side to a rotor core at the opposite side of the load side is set to be β. In a case of α>β, γ≥ε is satisfied, and in a case of α<β, γ≤ε is satisfied. Thereby, the vibration of the rotor can be suppressed effectively.

Rotating electric machine

An object is to obtain a rotary electric machine, capable of reducing an eddy current loss which is caused in a magnet member provided in a stator. A rotor and a stator which is arranged to face to the rotor in a radial direction of the rotor are provided. The stator has a stator core, a stator coil, and a magnet member. The stator core has a core back and teethes, and the teethes protrude from the core back toward the rotor and are arranged along a circumferential direction. The stator coil is wound to each of the plurality of teethes, and is arranged in a slot formed between teethes lying next to each other in the circumferential direction. The magnet member is formed of a plurality of permanent magnets in each of the teethes.

Rotary electric machine

A squirrel-cage rotor includes a slot having an outside circumference edge which is near the outer side of the rotor iron core and has a first corner at one end and a second corner at the other end and whose shape expands toward the outer side beyond a first virtual circle that connects the first corner and the second corner and is concentric with the rotor iron core. It also has an inside circumference edge which is near the inner side and has a third corner having a curvature radius smaller than that of the first corner at one end and a fourth corner having a curvature radius smaller than that of the second corner at the other end and whose shape expands toward the outer side beyond a second virtual circle that connects the third corner and the fourth corner and is concentric with the rotor iron core.

Squirrel-cage rotor and rotating electric machine

In a rotary electric machine, a conductive member surrounds a shaft and a plurality of permanent magnets provided on an outer peripheral portion of the shaft as a whole, and a holding member surrounds the shaft, the plurality of permanent magnets, and the conductive member as a whole. A conductivity of the conductive member is higher than a conductivity of the permanent magnet. The conductive member includes first and second opposing portions that oppose each other via a gap in a circumferential direction. An inter-opposing portion region existing between the first and second opposing portions is positioned within a circumferential direction range of an inter-magnet region existing between permanent magnets that are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction.
