A printed circuit board of a card edge connector type includes interconnections formed on a surface of a substrate to be electrically coupled to respective connecting terminals formed by electrolytic plating on an edge of the substrate, and connecting terminal-forming wirings being respectively in connection with the interconnections, when the connecting terminals are formed by the electrolytic plating. The interconnections are electrically isolated from the connecting terminal-forming wirings by process openings formed in the substrate.

Printed circuit board and manufacturing method therefor

An inserting connector includes a plurality of plug electrodes where plug connecting terminals are provided at first ends of the plug electrodes and plug terminals are provided at second ends of the plug electrodes, the plug connecting terminals being configured to be connected to a board, the plug terminals being configured to be connected to jack terminals; wherein the plug connecting terminals extend in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the board; the plug terminals extend in a movable direction where the plug terminals are attached to or detached from the jack terminals; the plug electrodes are bent at an angle &#x3b1; in longitudinal directions of the plug electrodes, the angle &#x3b1; being greater than 0 degrees and less than 90 degrees.

Inserting connector, connector unit, and backplane

A connector module that is mounted on a motherboard and is configured to realize connection between a cable side connector and the motherboard is disclosed. The connector module includes a printed circuit board, plural substrate side connectors that are mounted on the front surface of the printed circuit board and arranged into plural rows with differing heights, and a mounting connector that is mounted on the rear surface of the printed circuit board. At least one of the substrate side connectors is connected to the cable side connector. The mounting connector is engaged with and connected to a motherboard side connector that is mounted on the motherboard. The printed circuit board includes a pattern that is configured to realize electrical connection between the substrate side connectors and the mounting connector.

Connector module

An evaluation board having an interconnection line pattern formed thereon is disclosed. The interconnection line pattern has a first end to be connected to a cable assembly and a second end to be connected to a measurement device measuring the transmission characteristic of the cable assembly. The evaluation board includes an equalizer circuit equalizing the transmission characteristic of the cable assembly.

Evaluation board and cable assembly evaluation method

A connector assembly is disclosed that includes a first connector provided at an end of a printed board of an electronic apparatus, the first connector having a connector main body part thereof projecting from an opening in the panel of the electronic apparatus; a second connector provided at an end of a cable, the second connector being fitted and connected to the connector main body part of the first connector; and a latch part to which a latch claw of the second connector is latched, the latch part being provided on the panel. The latch claw of the second connector is latched to the latch part on the panel so that the second connector is connected to the first connector.

Connector assembly

A connector socket module is disclosed that includes a connector socket module main body and a holder member configured to hold the connector socket module main body. The connector socket module main body includes a relay board; multiple I/O connector sockets of which a corresponding one is to be connected to a connector plug, the I/O connector sockets being arranged on a first face of the relay board; and a mounting connector mounted on a second face of the relay board facing away from the first face to be connected to a connector on a main board. The holder member covers a side of the connector socket module main body on the side of the second face of the relay board, is formed by bending a metal plate member of a predetermined shape, and has a part to be fixed to the main board.

A cable connector includes a contact assembly including an electrical insulating block part which is configured to incorporate plural signal contacts; and a relay wiring substrate mounted to a back of the contact assembly. The relay wiring substrate includes, on a surface, a contact connecting pad electrically connected to one of the signal contacts, a wiring connecting pad, and a wiring pattern connecting the contact connecting pad and the wiring connecting pad. The relay wiring substrate further includes a ground layer inside the relay wiring substrate. The cable connector further includes a cable connected to the relay wiring substrate by electrically connecting an end of a wiring with the wiring connecting pad. The relay wiring substrate further includes a ground pattern for matching impedance inside the relay wiring substrate.

Cable connector

A cable connector for balanced transmission is disclosed. A spacer member is attached to a contact assembly body in the cable connector for balanced transmission, a first signal wire connecting part of a first signal contact member is inserted into a first groove of the spacer member, a second signal wire connecting part of a second signal contact member is inserted into a second groove of the spacer member, and a ground contact member is inserted in a slit of the spacer member, so that their positions are decided. A cable for balanced transmission includes plural pairs of wires, and a first signal wire of the pair of wires is soldered to the first signal connecting part, a second signal wire thereof is soldered to the second signal connecting part, and a drain wire thereof is soldered to a drain wire connecting part of the ground contact member.

Cable connector for balanced transmission

A disclosed balanced transmission cable connector includes a relay board having a wiring pattern extending from the upper face to the lower face through a via hole. Wire connection pads to output signals are disposed on the upper face of the relay board, and wire connection pads to input signals are disposed on the lower face of the relay board. Two wires of a pair wire are soldered to the wire connection pads disposed on the same face of the relay board. A ground layer inside the relay board shields between the soldered parts of the pair wire to transmit output signals and the soldered parts of the pair wire to transmit input signals.

Balanced transmission cable connector

A cable connector includes a contact assembly body having a structure where a contact is provided in an electric insulating block body, a relay board connected to the contact and provided at a back surface side of the contact assembly body, an electric wire arranging member which is provided at an end side of the relay board and which is configured to arrange a plurality of covering electric wires extended from an end of a cable in an arranging direction of the contact. A wire which is extended from an end of an electric insulating covering part of the covering electric wire is provided at an end of the cable so as to mechanically and electrically connect to the relay board. The electric wire arranging member has a synthetic resin receiving part configured to receive molten synthetic resin. The synthetic resin receiving part is provided at a side facing a part connected to the wire, of the electric wire arranging member. A synthetic resin part for reinforcing is formed into the synthetic resin receiving part by solidifying the molten synthetic resin. The synthetic resin part for reinforcing covers a part where the wire is connected, and fixes the end of the electric insulating covering part of the covering electric wire to the relay board.

A gasket is mounted on a connector device for providing an electromagnetic shielding. The gasket has a form of a rectangular frame, and includes a locking part on each of shorter-side portions opposing each other as shorter sides of the rectangular frame. The connector device includes a locked part in a metal article pressed into a through hole formed in an insulator. The gasket is mounted on the connector device by the locking part of the gasket hooking the locked part of the metal article.

A connector is electrically connected to a substrate in which a conductor pattern and electrodes at ends of the conductor pattern are provided on a surface of the substrate. The connector includes a plurality of contacts that are resiliently connectable to the electrodes of the substrate inserted in the connector. An insulator member contains the contacts arrayed therein. A slider unit is movably attached to the insulator member, the slider unit including a plurality of lugs that are connectable to respective edges of the contacts contained in the insulator member. The connector is configured such that the respective edges of the contacts are connected to the lugs of the slider unit before the slider unit is moved relative to the insulator member, so as to separate the contacts from the electrodes of the substrate, and the respective edges of the contacts are disconnected from the lugs after the slider unit is moved relative to the insulator member, so that the contacts are resiliently connected to the electrodes of the substrate.
