Resin molded product and method for producing resin molded product

A resin molded piece is made from a crystalline resin and is molded by filling a molding spacewhich is defined between a movable moldand a fixed moldwith the resin. The resin molded piece has a designed surfaceon to which a surface of the movable moldis transferred and a non-designed surfaceon to which a surface of the fixed moldis transferred. The designed surfaceincludes a mirror surface portion. Center line average roughnesses Ra of the mirror surface portionand the non-designed surfaceare both 0.5 &#x3bc;m or smaller. According to the resin molded piece and a fabrication method therefor, the surface roughness of the designed surface can be reduced while restricting a reduction in productivity.

In a vehicle lamp of the present disclosure, a lamp body is made of an acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) resin, which has a glass transition temperature lower than that of a poly(methyl methacrylate) PMMA resin constituting a light transmissive cover. That is, with respect to the glass transition temperature Tgof the PMMA resin constituting the light transmissive cover, the glass transition temperature of the ASA resin constituting the lamp body is set to Tg&#x3e;Tg. Thus, it is possible to generate not a tensile residual stress but a compressive residual stress in a welding portion between the lamp body and the light transmissive cover, thereby enhancing the solvent resistance of the light transmissive cover. And, thus, an annealing process after the welding is unnecessary, or simply performed.

Vehicle lamp

A vehicle lamp includes a light source, and a resin component disposed on the periphery of the light source. The resin component has a designed surface that can be observed from the outside of the lamp. The designed surface includes a textured surface having minute irregularities, and a projecting portion provided adjacent to the textured surface.

A vehicular lamp includes a vehicular component part that is molded by charging molten resin into a cavity defined by a first die that has a mirror surface-molding portion and a semi-gloss surface-molding portion and a second die that is movable relative to the first die and cooling the molten resin. The vehicular component part includes a mirror surface-formed portion having a mirror surface that is formed by the mirror surface-molding portion and a semi-gloss surface-formed portion having a semi-gloss surface that is formed by the semi-gloss surface-molding portion. A step surface is provided between the mirror surface and the semi-gloss surface of the vehicular component part. The semi-gloss surface-formed portion is protruded on a first die side relative to the mirror surface-formed portion.

Vehicular lamp, vehicular component part for use in the same, and method of producing the vehicular component

In a lighting device for a vehicle including a reflector in which an aluminum deposited layer is formed on a surface of a resin member, the resin member is molded through a resin obtained by adding, to a crystalline resin, a filler having a size smaller than a wavelength of a visible light, and a smooth surface and a fine concavo-convex surface are mixed into a surface of the reflector (the resin member) which is molded. The aluminum deposited layer is directly deposited on the surface of the resin, and the smooth surface is formed as a mirror finished surface and the fine concavo-convex surface is formed as a semiglossy surface. As compared with a case in which the reflector is constituted by only the simple mirror finished surface, the semiglossy surface designed to have a proper area is present so that a sense of gloss can be suppressed as a whole and a sense of high quality can be given.
