A power system includes a central unit, a zone unit capable of communicating with the central unit, and a downstream electric wire configured to electrically connect a predetermined downstream unit to the zone unit. A central processor of the central unit executes processing including transmitting electric wire characteristic data stored in a central storage device to the zone unit at a predetermined timing. A zone processor of the zone unit executes processing including writing the electric wire characteristic data transmitted from the central unit into a zone storage device in response to reception of the electric wire characteristic data, and determining whether to turn a semiconductor switch coupled to the downstream electric wire to an OFF state, based on the electric wire characteristic data written into the zone storage device and the current detected by a current sensor.

Power system

A diagnostic device diagnoses a hydraulic pressure control actuator which drives a line pressure control valve to regulate a pressure of hydraulic oil between upper and lower limit line pressures, so that the pressure approaches a predetermined target line pressure. The diagnostic device includes: an actual hydraulic pressure detection unit to detect an actual hydraulic pressure; a determination value setting unit to set a high pressure fixation determination value which is increased as the driving revolution rate is increased so as to substantially match a characteristic of the actuator at a time of high pressure fixation; and a fixation determination unit to determine high pressure fixation of the actuator when the actual hydraulic pressure substantially matches the high pressure fixation determination value with a difference between the target line pressure and the upper limit line pressure not lower than a predetermined value.

Diagnostic device for hydraulic pressure control actuator

To effectively utilize work information acquired by maintenance of an instrument in a plant, an apparatus is provided, which includes an acquisition unit that acquires work information about at least one of a calibration or an adjustment performed on the instrument in a plant; an extraction unit that extracts a plurality of data elements to be included in output information having a predetermined output format from the work information; and a generation unit that generates the output information from the plurality of data elements.

Multi-core cable core alignment device and multi-core cable core alignment method

An engine () is a four-flow scavenging type engine. Four scavenging ports () include: first right and left scavenging ports ((lef-) and(ref-)) that lie on a side relatively away from an exhaust port () and that lie facing each other with a cylinder () in between; and second right and left scavenging ports ((lef-) and(ref-)) that lie closer to the exhaust port () than first right and left scavenging ports do and that lie facing each other with the cylinder () in between. The second left scavenging port and the first right scavenging port that make up a first mutually diagonal set (Diag-No.) have different opening timings from those of the first left scavenging port and the second right scavenging port that make up a second mutually diagonal set (Diag-No.).

Two-stroke engine

A vehicle includes a high-voltage system circuit including a high-voltage battery, a low-voltage system circuit including a low-voltage battery and an updater, a DC-DC converter coupled between the high-voltage system circuit and the low-voltage system circuit, and a controller. The low-voltage battery has a lower output voltage than the high-voltage battery. The updater updates a program of an update-target device with electric power supplied from the low-voltage or high-voltage battery. The DC-DC converter is capable of reducing in voltage output electric power of the high-voltage battery and then supplying the electric power to the updater. The controller sets a target SOC range of the high-voltage battery and controls charging of the high-voltage battery based on the target SOC range. The controller changes a target SOC lower-limit value of the high-voltage battery to a value higher than a normal value when updating of the program of the update-target device is scheduled.

Vehicle

A vehicle includes a vehicle-mounted communication unit capable of wirelessly communicating telematics information to and from an external server, a monitoring unit that monitors whether an abnormality has occurred in the vehicle-mounted communication unit because of a security incident, and a control unit that controls a vehicle-mounted device. When detecting occurrence of an abnormality in the vehicle-mounted communication unit, the monitoring unit disconnects communication between the vehicle-mounted communication unit and the monitoring unit and notifies the control unit of the abnormality. The control unit can wirelessly communicate with a mobile communication terminal in accordance with a certain profile of a short-range wireless communication standard for a function of the vehicle-mounted device. The control unit instructs, when being notified of the abnormality, the mobile communication terminal to perform an operation in accordance with the certain profile so as to report the abnormality to the external server via the mobile communication terminal.

A vehicle control apparatus includes a generator, a brake system, first and second sensors, first and second deceleration rate setting units, and a power generation torque controller. The first deceleration rate setting unit sets, when a first control mode that decelerates a vehicle on the basis of a brake operation performed by an occupant is executed, an allowable deceleration rate upon deceleration of the vehicle on the basis of a brake operation amount. The second deceleration rate setting unit sets, when a second control mode that decelerates the vehicle on the basis of a situation ahead of the vehicle is executed, the allowable deceleration rate upon deceleration of the vehicle on the basis of a brake fluid pressure. The power generation torque controller controls power generation torque of the generator on the basis of the allowable deceleration rate that is set by the first or second deceleration rate setting unit.

Vehicle control apparatus

A vehicle includes a high-voltage system circuit including a high-voltage battery, a low-voltage system circuit including an updater and a low-voltage battery having a lower output voltage than the high-voltage battery, a DC-DC converter coupled between the two circuits, a controller that controls the two circuits and the DC-DC converter, and a wireless communication device. The updater updates a program of an update-target device. The wireless communication device wirelessly receives update data for the program. The controller calculates time taken for updating the program, based on information on the update data. The controller causes the DC-DC converter to reduce in voltage output electric power of the high-voltage battery and then supply the electric power to the low-voltage system circuit, and thus charges the low-voltage battery in accordance with the calculated time. The updater updates the program using output electric power of the charged low-voltage battery.

A vehicle control apparatus to be mounted on a vehicle including an engine includes an electric motor, an electricity storage device, and a motor controller. The electric motor is coupled to the engine and generates motor power. The electricity storage device is coupled to the electric motor through a power supply cable. The motor controller causes execution of an assistance mode. The assistance mode includes controlling the electric motor to a powering state to transmit the motor power to the engine in operation. The motor controller permits the execution of the assistance mode on the condition that a rotation speed of the electric motor is lower than a threshold. The motor controller prohibits the execution of the assistance mode on the condition that the rotation speed of the electric motor is higher than the threshold.

Power unit for vehicle and vehicle control apparatus

A vehicle power supply apparatus includes first and second power supply systems, an electrical conduction path, a switch, and a switch controller. The first power supply system includes a first electrical energy accumulator and an electric load. The second power supply system includes a generator and a second electrical energy accumulator. The switch is configured to be controlled to a turn-on state and a turn-off state. The turn-on state includes coupling the electric load and the second electrical energy accumulator to each other, and the turn-off state includes isolating them from each other. The switch controller controls the switch to the turn-on state on the condition that the generator has an abnormality, and afterwards controls the switch to the turn-off state.

Vehicle power supply apparatus

A vehicle electric power supply apparatus includes a first electric power supply system, a second electric power supply system, an electric power fuse, a switch, a starter relay, an occupant operated unit, a starter control unit, and a switch control unit. The switch is controlled to be in one of an electrically-conductive state and a cutoff state. The starter relay is controlled to be in one of an electrically-conductive state or a cutoff state. The occupant operated unit is operated by an occupant. The starter control unit outputs an ON signal and the switch control unit outputs an OFF signal when the occupant operated unit is operated. The ON signal allows the starter relay to be controlled in the electrically-conductive state. The OFF signal allows the switch to be controlled in the cutoff state.

Vehicle electric power supply apparatus

A vehicle power supply apparatus includes first and second power supply systems, first and second switches, and a fail-safe controller. The second power supply system includes a generator motor coupled to an engine, and a second electrical energy accumulator able to be coupled to the generator motor. The fail-safe controller inhibits a powering state of the motor generator on the condition that the second switch is in a malfunctioning state in which the second switch is rendered inoperative in a second turn-off state. The second turn-off state includes isolating the generator motor and the second electrical energy accumulator from each other.

A vehicle power supply apparatus includes first and second power supply systems, first and second switches, first and second switch controllers, a generator motor controller, an engine controller, and an idling stop determination unit. The idling stop determination unit determines whether or not to inhibit an idling stop control on the basis of a current of an first electrical energy accumulator of the first power supply system, a current of a second electrical energy accumulator of the second power supply system, or a voltage of a generator motor of the second power supply system, or any combination thereof, while recognizing a third control signal to be transmitted to the generator motor, a first control signal to be transmitted to the first switch, and a second control signal to be transmitted to the second switch.

A vehicle power supply apparatus includes first and second power supply systems, an accumulator sensor, and an abnormality determination unit. The first power supply system includes a generator and a first electrical energy accumulator. The second power supply system includes a second electrical energy accumulator and a group of electric devices. The accumulator sensor detects at least a discharge current of the second electrical energy accumulator. The abnormality determination unit determines that the second electrical energy accumulator is abnormal on the condition that the accumulator sensor is normal and the discharge current of the second electrical energy accumulator is equal to or smaller than a current threshold.
