A walking assist cart includes a cart body on which a load can be placed, a drive portion that drives a drive wheel, an inclination sensor that detects the inclination angle of the cart body, and a controller that acquires the weight of the load placed on the cart body based on the drive force of the drive portion and the inclination angle of the cart body and outputs assist drive force based on the weight of the load that is acquired.

The power assist device includes a pressure sensor that detects an operating force applied to the object by the user; a motor that outputs and applies a motive force to the object; and a controller. The controller records a history of the operating force detected by the pressure sensor; detects a periodically fluctuating component of the operating force based on the history of the operating force; calculates a component of a current operating force caused by motion of the user operating the object; calculates a correction value that excludes the component caused by motion of the user from the current operating force; calculates a power assist force based on the correction value; and outputs the power assist force as the motive force of the motor.

A manually propelled vehicle may include a vehicle body, a left drive wheel and a right drive wheel, a wheel driver that drives the left and right drive wheels, a sensor that detects a user behind the vehicle body, and a controller that determines whether the user is behind the left or right drive wheel based on a detected result of the sensor. When one of the left or right drive wheel moves backward and the controller detects that the user is behind the one of the left or right drive wheel, the controller suppresses or stops the wheel driver from driving the one of the left or right drive wheel.

A manually propelled vehicle includes a vehicle body; a wheel for moving the vehicle body; a force sensor that detects an operating force and outputs sensor data; a distance measuring sensor that measures a distance between the manually propelled vehicle and a user and outputs sensor data; and a controller including a processor that receives the sensor data of the force sensor and the sensor data of the distance measuring sensor and a wheel drive controller that controls driving and braking of the wheel based on an output of the processor.

A walking assistance moving vehicle includes a walking assistance moving vehicle main body with a pair of drive wheels, a drive wheel rotational speed sensor, a turning sensor, and a controller. The drive wheel rotational speed sensor senses drive wheel rotational speed of each of the drive wheels. The turning sensor directly senses at least one of a first lateral acceleration and a first turning angular velocity. The controller indirectly acquires at least one of a second lateral acceleration and a second turning angular velocity based on the drive wheel rotational speed sensed by the drive wheel rotational speed sensor. The controller performs a first control to decelerate or stop drive of the drive wheels based on a comparison of the first turning angular velocity and the second turning angular velocity or a comparison of the first lateral acceleration and the second lateral acceleration.

A broadcast receiving device includes a first receiving unit, a second receiving unit, a display control unit, an audio determination unit, a switching determination unit and a switching execution unit. The display control unit displays a first image corresponding to a first television broadcast received by the first receiving unit on a main screen in a monitor, and displays a second image corresponding to a second television broadcast received by the second receiving unit on a subscreen in the monitor. A television program recording/reproducing device displays a reproduction program selection screen containing a title list image, a cursor image, frame images for initial letter selection and frame images for second letter selection. The title list image displays multiple title images sequentially in alphabetical order. One frame image for initial letter selection is displayed for multiple same titles, if any, while one frame image for second letter selection is displayed for multiple titles having the same initial letter, if any, in the title list image. The cursor image is moved on and between the title images and the both frame images.
