Provided is a semiconductor device having high planarity in an in-plane direction. This semiconductor device includes a semiconductor substrate, a first plating film pattern, a second plating film pattern, and an insulating layer. The semiconductor substrate has a first surface, and a second surface on a side opposite to the first surface. The first plating film pattern includes a first portion that covers a first regional portion of the first surface, and a second portion that is stacked to cover a portion of the first portion. The second plating film pattern includes a third portion that covers a second regional portion different from the first regional portion of the first surface, and also includes a fourth portion that is stacked to cover a portion of the third portion. A portion between the second portion and the fourth portion is filled with the insulating layer.

Semiconductor device, imaging unit, and electronic apparatus

An imaging element according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a semiconductor substrate having an effective pixel region in which a plurality of pixels is disposed and a peripheral region provided around the effective pixel region; a photoelectric converter; a first hydrogen block layer; an interlayer insulating layer; and a separation groove. The photoelectric converter includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and an electric charge accumulation layer and a photoelectric conversion layer. The first electrode is provided on a light receiving surface side of the semiconductor substrate and includes a plurality of electrodes. The second electrode is disposed to be opposed to the first electrode. The electric charge accumulation layer and the photoelectric conversion layer are stacked and provided in order between the first electrode and the second electrode and extend in the effective pixel region. The first hydrogen block layer covers a top and a side surface of the photoelectric conversion layer and a side surface of the electric charge accumulation layer. The interlayer insulating layer is provided between the semiconductor substrate and the photoelectric converter. The separation groove separates the interlayer insulating layer in at least a portion of a region between the effective pixel region and the peripheral region. The separation groove has a side surface and a bottom surface covered with the first hydrogen block layer.

A method for producing a metal thin film on a substrate includes: a step of applying an ink to a flat blanket; a first transfer step of bringing the first blanket and a letterpress having a predetermined pattern of projections into contact by a pressure compression while the flat blanked and the letterpress being disposed opposite each other, to selectively transfer a portion of the ink on the flat blanket corresponding to the projections to the letterpress; a second transfer step of bringing the flat blanket obtained after the first transfer step and the substrate into contact by pressure compression while the flat blanket and the substrate being disposed opposite each other, to transfer the ink remaining on the flat blanket to the substrate; and a step of subjecting the substrate obtained after the second transfer step to electroless plating to deposit a metal thin film on the substrate.

A method for making a thin-film semiconductor device includes an annealing step of irradiating an amorphous semiconductor thin film with a laser beam so as to crystallize the amorphous semiconductor thin film. In the annealing step, the semiconductor thin film is continuously irradiated with the laser beam while shifting the position of the semiconductor thin film irradiated with the laser beam at a predetermined velocity so that excess hydrogen can be removed from the region irradiated with the laser beam without evaporating and expanding hydrogen ions in the semiconductor thin film.

Infrared microscopic spectrum analysis apparatus and method for analysis of recording media using the same

This invention provides a magnetic recording medium which, even when the friction time is prolonged or the scan speed is increased to achieve a long time recording, will leave no burnt matters onto a magnetic head, reduce spacing loss, and prevent an increase in error rate. This invention also provides a cleaning tape which, without causing any wear and damage of a magnetic head, will remove the head of burnt matters adherent thereto. They are actually a magnetic recording medium and cleaning tape which hold an antiseize agent containing a compound with a pyridine skeleton and two or more ligand sites. Alternatively, they are a magnetic recording medium and cleaning tape which hold an antiseize agent containing a diketone compound. The antiseize agent may contain a titanium coupling agent, carboxylic acid, and phosphor-containing compound, in addition to the above compound.

The present invention provides a magnetic recording medium having a magnetic layer comprising a ferromagnetic powder dispersed in a binder so as to exhibit an excellent electromagnetic property. The magnetic recording medium has a magnetic layer formed on a non-magnetic body, from a magnetic paint mainly consisting of a ferromagnetic powder and a binding agent. This magnetic layer also contains a metal chelate compound of a diketone shown in Chemical Formula given below: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.3 are selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, hydroxyl group, nitro group, carboxyl group, carbonyl group, amino group, amide group, and sulfonic acid group as well as alkyl group, aryl group, hetero-aromatic group replaced therewith and wherein the metal of the chelate compound is Ti, Zr, Ni, Sn, Co, or Cr.
