A frame cover and a back cover constituting a panel-shaped first casing having an image display surface include a plurality of primary engaging means provided at least in the butt-edge portions on the side to which hinges are attached and engaging between the butt edge portions; and a secondary engaging means located internally in front of a rectangular lock hole in which a movable type lock claw of a second casing is inserted and locked in order to hold the first casing, having a flexible piece extending from one of the covers toward the other thereof, and engaging the other of the covers with the free end of the flexible piece; wherein a fit state where the frame cover and the back cover are combined is established by both the engagements of the primary engaging means and the secondary engaging means, whereas the engagement of the primary engaging means is set in a releasable state by inserting a tool into the rectangular lock hole and inwardly flexing the flexible piece to release the secondary engaging means from the engagement.

Display opening and closing angle detecting mechanism

An on-vehicle display device mounted on a ceiling including an open and close mechanism, which secures the rearward visibility during the backward driving of the vehicle and also enables the user to continue to enjoy display images. The on-vehicle display device includes a control means which controls the display, when the displayis open at a best view-angle position, to move in even more widely open direction to a predetermined angle (an displacement-angle position), upon detection of entering a backward driving state of the vehicle. The displayis controlled to return to the best view-angle position when the backward driving state of the vehicle is terminated.

An image reproducing device has a post pin that is protrusively provided on a reproducing mechanism built-in box, a first post-pin locking mechanism that locks the post pin at the folding position of the reproducing mechanism built-in box by the folding/developing operation of the box, a second post-pin locking mechanism that responds to the operation of an image display unit to lock the post pin at the developing position of the reproducing mechanism built-in box, an image-display-unit locking mechanism in association with the folding operation of the image display unit to lock the image display unit at the storing position of the unit, and a common lock release actuating mechanism that simultaneously releases the lock of the first post-pin locking mechanism and the lock of the image-display-unit locking mechanism.

A temporary clamping structure for electronics includes a bracket fastened to a ceiling surface of the interior of a room, an electronic device body connected to the ceiling surface by screwing down to the bracket, fitting holes formed on the bracket side, and a fitting pawl provided on the electronic device body and fittable into the fitting holes. The temporary clamping structure for electronics is arranged such that the fitting pawl is unfixed from the fitting hole by bending the tip end of second protrusion of the electronic device body in the direction in which the second protrusion goes away from the first protrusion.
