A stator includes: a stator core including teeth; pins including a working portion extending in an axial direction in a slot between the teeth; and bus bars electrically connected to the pins. In each slot, the working portions are disposed over stages in a radial direction. The pins include the two working portions disposed across the teeth, a first pin and a second pin each including a connection portion connecting the working portion in a circumferential direction, and a third pin connected to the bus bar. Each of the working portions of the second pin and the third pin is disposed in one of an outermost stage and an innermost stage of the slot. A number of teeth straddled by the second pin is smaller than a number of teeth straddled by the first pin.

Stator and motor

A stator includes a stator core, three-phase coils, three external terminals, and three busbars. Each of the three-phase coils has a first coil end protruding from the radially outermost side of a slot to a first side in the axial direction of the stator core. Each of the three bus bars includes a busbar body portion extending in a circumferential direction of the stator core, a busbar connection portion extending toward the first side in the axial direction, and an external terminal connection portion extending outward in the radial direction and connected to the external terminal. The first coil end extends in the radial direction through between the busbar body portion and the stator core in the axial direction, extends toward the first side in the axial direction on a radially outer side of the busbar body portion, and has a tip connected to the busbar connection portion from the radially outer side.

Stator, motor, and method for manufacturing stator

A stator includes: a stator core including teeth; pins including a working portion extending in an axial direction in a slot between the teeth; and bus bars electrically connected to the pins. In each slot, the working portions are disposed over stages in a radial direction. The pins include the two working portions across the teeth, first and second pins each including a connection portion connecting the working portion in a circumferential direction, and a third pin connected to the bus bar. The working portion of the second pin is disposed on one of the outermost and innermost stages of the slot, and the working portion of the third pin is disposed on one or the other of the outermost and innermost stages of the slot. A number of teeth straddled by the second pin is larger by two than a number of teeth straddled by the first pin.

A motor includes a rotor, a back cover, a housing, and a brush card assembly. The rotor includes a core fixed to a shaft, a coil that magnetizes a core, and a commutator connected to the coil. The back cover includes a back cover bottom surface portion, and a back cover cylindrical portion on an outer periphery of the back cover bottom surface portion to have a cylindrical shape. The brush card assembly includes a brush card bottom surface portion spaced apart from the back cover bottom surface portion in an axial direction through a first gap. The brush card bottom surface holds brushes and includes a nip portion nipped by the back cover and the housing, an outer peripheral wall spaced apart from the back cover cylindrical portion in a radial direction through a second gap, and contact portions contacting the back cover cylindrical portion.

Motor

A motor includes a rotor, a brush card assembly arranged to supply an electric current to the rotor, a housing, a permanent magnet, and a bearing. The rotor includes a core fixed to a shaft, a coil arranged to excite the core and a commutator connected to the coil. The coil is wound around the core in a concentrated winding method. The brush card assembly includes at least one pair of brushes having different polarities, the brushes disposed along a circumferential direction and connected to each other via the commutator and the coil, a X capacitor parallel-connected to the brushes, Y capacitors parallel-connected to the brushes and a brush card arranged to hold the brushes, the X capacitor and the Y capacitors. The brush card includes a ground portion. The X capacitor is positioned between the brushes in the circumferential direction. The Y capacitors are connected to the ground portion.

A motor includes a housing, a back cover, a brush card, a brush, and a connector member. The back cover includes a first rear wall portion and a first peripheral wall portion. The first peripheral wall portion includes a through-hole and a cut-out. The through-hole vertically penetrates through the first peripheral wall portion at or near a lower end portion of the first peripheral wall portion. The cut-out is disposed farther on an upper side than the through-hole. The connector member is fitted into the cut-out. An outer surface of the connector member is provided with a flow path groove that extends in both peripheral and axial directions. The motor includes a flow path surface on an inner surface of the back cover. The flow path surface continues from a portion that opposes the flow path groove on a lower side of the flow path groove to the through-hole.

A motor includes an armature core having m&#xd7;n teeth (m is an odd number &#x2267;3, and n is a natural number &#x2267;2), a plurality of coils, and a commutator. The motor further includes field magnets including 2n magnetic poles and at least a first-potential brush and at least a second-potential brush. The commutator includes a segment group defined by 2m&#xd7;n segments. Only the coil defined by winding a continuous conducting wire in a predetermined winding direction is disposed in each of k teeth among the m&#xd7;n teeth, and only the coil defined by winding the continuous conducting wire in a direction reverse to the predetermined winding direction is disposed in each of teeth disposed at a position separated from each of the k teeth at 360&#xd7;i degrees (i is a natural number &#x2266;(n&#x2212;1)) of electric angles.

Motor with simplified winding and reduced brush wear

A winding structure which is disposed over an armature and a commutator includes an equalizer. The equalizer includes a going portion and a return portion which are wound across one group of teeth through a slot and connected between two identical segments. In a case where an integer number is an expansion value among values which are integer multiples of a value which is acquired by dividing the total number of the slots by the total number of pole pairs, when one group of the teeth having the same total number as the expansion value is given as an element teeth group, the going portion and the return portion are wound across the element teeth group through the slots positioned at both sides of the element teeth group.
