An extraction apparatus is a sample removal apparatus that removes a sample collected from a living body. The extraction apparatus includes: a storage container holder that holds a storage container of a sample and is capable of being placed at a sample receiving section where the sample is supplied to the storage container, and a removal section that causes the sample to be discharged from the storage container to a predetermined place; a housing that covers the storage container holder and the removal section; and a supply section that allows for supply of the sample from the outside of the housing to the storage container in the housing.

A mist collector includes: a nozzle through which air is sucked from a suction port and discharged from a discharge port; and a cyclone including an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder. The inner cylinder includes an intake hole and forms an airflow inside the inner cylinder by air taken therein through this intake hole, thereby separating ink mist from the air.

An inkjet recording apparatus includes an ink jetter that jets ink and a transfer unit that has a ring-shaped intermediate transfer body. The transfer unit transfers, to a recording medium, a primary image formed on an outer circumferential surface of the intermediate transfer body with the ink that is jetted to land on the outer circumferential surface by the ink jetter. The transfer unit includes a heater that heats air in an internal space of the intermediate transfer body enclosed by an inner circumferential surface of the intermediate transfer body, and an air mover that flows the air in the internal space.

In an image forming apparatus, when a fixing device is in a non-fixing state and a transfer device is in a non-transfer state, an ejection device increases a conveying force by a pair of ejection rollers as compared to the conveying force in the fixing state. According to this image forming apparatus, a printing object can be stably conveyed even when a pair of rollers of the fixing device becomes separated from each other.

Provided is an image forming apparatus capable of obtaining a high deviation prevention capability while suppressing adhesion of paste to a side regulating member. Then, first side regulating membersA andB are provided at both end parts of the upstream side roller memberin a fixed state, and also second side regulating membersA andB are provided at both end parts of the downstream side roller memberin a rotatable state. The first side regulating membersA andB and the second side regulating membersA andB regulate the deviation of a roll sheet S by the contact with the edge parts of the roll sheet S.

In an image forming apparatus, a roll sheet carrying an unfixed toner image is passed through a nip portion of a fixing portion including a fixing member heated to a predetermined temperature and a pressurizing member press-contacted with the fixing member so as to fix the toner image on the roll sheet. Then, the control portion performs winding prevention control of the roll sheet around the fixing member and the pressurizing member in accordance with a winding direction of the roll sheet and/or a roll radius of the remaining roll sheet.
