Disclosed herein is an inductance element for a magnetic sensor. The inductance element includes a first core comprising a first soft magnetic material and having first and second connecting surfaces, a second core comprising a second soft magnetic material different from the first soft magnetic material and having third and fourth connecting surfaces facing the first and second connecting surfaces, respectively, and a coil wound around the first core between the first and second connecting surfaces, wherein the first core is larger in magnetic field strength at which magnetic saturation occurs than the second core, and wherein the second core is higher in permeability than the first core and has at least partially a meander shape.

Inductance element for magnetic sensor and current sensor including the same

Disclosed herein is an inductance element that includes a base body, a saturable magnetic thin-plate core provided on the base body, and a coil conductor wound around the saturable magnetic thin-plate core. The saturable magnetic thin-plate core includes a first section linearly extending in a first direction and a second section having a meander-shaped, and the coil conductor is wound around the first section of the saturable magnetic thin-plate core.

Disclosed herein is a magnetic sensor including: a first core made of a first soft magnetic material, the first core having first and second connection surfaces; a second core made of a second soft magnetic material different from the first soft magnetic material, the second core having a third connection surface facing the first connection surface and a fourth connection surface facing the second connection surface; and a coil wound around the first core between the first connection surface and the second connection surface. The first core reaches magnetic saturation at a higher magnetic field intensity than that of the second core, and the second core has a higher magnetic permeability than that of the first core.
