An X-ray computed tomography apparatus includes processing circuitry and a display. The processing circuitry is configured to perform reconstruction processing to raw data generated by a scan of a subject to reconstruct a medical image, and determine a posture of the subject at the time of the scan, according to an imaging condition reflecting an examination order for the scan. The display displays the medical image in association with information as to the posture.

According to one embodiment, an X-ray computed tomography apparatus includes an X-ray tube, a detector, and processing circuitry. The X-ray tube emits X-rays. The detector detects X-rays that have been emitted from the X-ray tube and have passed through the subject. The processing circuitry sets an imaging condition. The processing circuitry evaluates the imaging condition based on information on a lower limit range of a count value of the detected X-rays that may cause image degradation.

A medical image diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment includes obtaining circuitry, detecting circuitry, deriving circuitry, and controlling circuitry. The setting circuitry is configured to obtain position information with respect to a landmark of a patient in a first image generated by performing a first scan on the patient and to set a scan range to be used during a second scan by using the obtained position information, the position information being determined on a basis of the first image and expressed in an image taking system used during the first scan. The image generating circuitry is configured to generate a second image by performing the second scan on the scan range.

The processing circuitry is configured to generate image data based on a detection result obtained by detecting X-rays transmitted through a subject with a detector. In an X-ray CT device according to an embodiment, reconstruction circuitry reconstructs a positioning image from projection data collected based on a detection signal of transmitted X-rays in positioning imaging performed at a first tube current. Circuitry detects body parts of a subject included in the positioning image. Storage stores information pieces relating to body parts, image quality levels for each of the information pieces relating to the body parts, and an X-ray count value corresponding to each of the image quality levels in an associated manner. The circuitry selects an image quality level corresponding to a desired body part. The circuitry acquires a second tube current based on the first tube current, an X-ray count value in the positioning imaging, and an X-ray count value associated with the selected image quality level. The circuitry controls an X-ray tube to perform main imaging based on the second tube current.

A medical image diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes memory circuitry and processing circuitry. The memory circuitry stores therein a plurality of anatomical landmarks in a subject in association with a plurality of groups. The processing circuitry generates three-dimensional image data of the subject. The processing circuitry selects at least one group among the groups based on set examination information and a type of scan to be performed, and detects a site of the subject corresponding to at least one group, based on anatomical landmarks corresponding to a selected group. The processing circuitry controls to output information indicating a detected site.

An X-ray computed tomography (CT) apparatus according to an embodiments includes collection circuitry, control circuitry and image generation circuitry. The collection circuitry collects a signal derived from X-rays emitted from an X-ray tube and transmitted through a subject. The control circuitry calculates a value of tube current to be supplied to the X-ray tube in a main scan, based on a first image acquired through a reconstruction process using the signal and a first filter, the signal being collected by the collection circuitry in a localizer scan. An X-ray computed tomography apparatus according to the present embodiment comprises a gantry and a tube current setting circuitry. The tube current setting circuitry set tube currents for the respective imaging regions. To be specific, the tube current setting circuitry calculate X-ray absorption index values in the respective imaging regions, based on scanogram image data, determine tube current values corresponding to the X-ray absorption index values for the respective imaging regions, and correct the tube current values of the respective imaging regions except for a reference region based on a relative relationship between an X-ray absorption index value of the reference imaging region and tube current values of the other imaging regions.

X-ray computed tomography apparatus and reconstruction processing method

An X-ray CT apparatus is provided which can easily decide on a reconstruction method based on imaging conditions. The X-ray CT apparatus comprises an irradiation unit irradiating a subject with X-rays, a detector configured to detect X-rays transmitted through the subject, and a rotator rotating irradiation unit and detector around the subject, and which generates an image by receiving biological signals of the subject to perform synchronous imaging. A memory stores a threshold value. Processing circuitry calculates, based on imaging conditions related to the synchronous imaging, a detection data amount in which detection data amount detected by the detector is represented by a number of rotations of the rotator, decides, based on the detection data amount and the threshold value, on a reconstruction process for implementation on the detection data, and implements reconstruction processes based on the detection data to generate the image.
