An optical sorter includes a light source, a color sensor, a determination part configured to determine a foreign object and/or a defective product, a color shift amount calculation part configured to calculate, based on a color image acquired by the color sensor, an amount of a color shift that occurs due to the fact that at least two element groups out of an R element group, a G element group, and a B element group are spaced apart from each other in a transit direction of a sorting target, a speed calculation part configured to calculate a transit speed of the sorting target based on a separation distance between the at least two element groups in the transit direction, the color shift amount, and a scan time, which is a time required for the color sensor to scan the sorting target once, and a sorting device configured to perform a trajectory change operation for changing a trajectory of a specific sorting target determined based on a result of the determination by the determination part at a timing determined based on the transit speed calculated by the speed calculation part.

Optical sorter

An object of the present invention is to improve the quality level discrimination accuracy of the grain G by a grain quality level discrimination device. The device includes an optical unitthat emits light to the grain G, receives reflected and/or transmitted light from the grain G by a photosensor, and obtains information for discrimination of the quality level of the grain G from the upper and lower surface side of the grain G, and a quality level discrimination unitthat discriminates the quality level of the grain G on the basis of the information. The information on the upper and lower surface sides can be acquired by one optical unit at the same time so that the divergence therebetween due to the displacement or variation of the attitude of the grain G can be avoided. The reference plate for the correction of the information is placed outside of the moving path of the grain G to prevent it from soiling or damaging. Thus the deterioration of information can be avoided. Further, a reference plate especially for the information to be obtained from the side surface of the grain G may be provided for enhancing the accuracy of the side surface information. Thus the quality level discrimination accuracy can be improved further.

Grain quality level discrimination device

An endoscope system is provided with: an endoscope apparatus capable of recording a picked-up endoscopic image; a memory card attachable to and detachable from the endoscope apparatus, the memory card transmitting the picked-up endoscopic image; and a PC or a mobile terminal having a function of communicating with the memory card and recording the endoscopic image transmitted from the memory card. The endoscope apparatus, and the PC or the mobile terminal are connected via wireless communication. When freeze processing is executed, the endoscope apparatus transmits an endoscopic image from the endoscope apparatus to the PC or the mobile terminal.

Endoscope system

An endoscope apparatus comprises an imaging unit, a measurement point setting unit, a corresponding-point setting unit, a region setting unit, a display unit, and a measuring unit. The imaging unit acquires image data containing a first image and a second image, the first image and the second image being about the same subject to be inspected. The measurement point setting unit sets a measurement point on the first image. The corresponding-point setting unit sets a corresponding point on the second image based on a position of the measurement point. The region setting unit sets an information display region on the second image based on a position of the corresponding point. The display unit displays the first image, the second image, the measurement point, the corresponding point, and the information display region. The measuring unit measures a subject using the image data.

Endoscope apparatus and measuring method

An endoscope apparatus includes: an imaging portion imaging a subject to generate image data; a designation portion designating a position in an image based on the image data; an image processing portion processing the image data such that an enlarged image obtained by enlarging an image in a second region including the designated position overlaps a first region including the designated position designated by the designation portion; a display portion displaying the enlarged image and the image of the subject based on the image data processed by the image processing portion and displays a cursor at the designated position on the enlarged image; and a measurement processing portion performing measurement on the basis of a measurement position indicated by the cursor by using the image data generated by the imaging portion. The enlarged image displayed on the display portion moves according to movement of the cursor.

The present invention provides a measuring endoscope apparatus which includes an endoscope that photoelectrically converts an image of an object to generate an imaging signal, a signal processing section that processes the imaging signal to generate image data, a distance measuring section that calculates an object distance based on a principle of triangulation using the image data, and a display section that displays the image of the object based on the image data. The measuring endoscope apparatus further includes a measuring section that calculates a size of the mark indicating a size of the object based on the object distance and a view angle of the endoscope. The display section also displays a mark along with the image of the object based on the image data.

An optical cracked-grain selector that does not mistakenly identify normal grains of rice having no cracks as cracked grains due to the presence of the embryonic portion and/or surface scratches when optically identifying cracked grains of rice mixed in with material rice grains. An identification part in a cracked grain identification unit obtains a first rice grain image (having an embryonic portion and scratches) based on light passed through the rice grain that is received by a first CCD sensor built into a CCD camera of a photoreaction detection unit and a second rice grain image (having cracks, an embryo portion and scratches) based on light passed through the rice grain received by a second CCD sensor built into the CCD camera, acquires an image of the cracks by calculating a difference in the amount of light between the two rice grain images, and identifies a cracked grain.

An interchangeable lens type camera system in which an intermediate accessory is removably attached between a camera body and a lens barrel includes a first CPU provided in the camera body, a second CPU provided in the intermediate accessory, and a third CPU provided in the lens barrel. There is disclosed a socket for a pipe coupling, comprising a hollow cylindrical socket body including a plug insertion port, a radially movable locking element to lock a plug in the plug insertion port, and a sleeve attached to the socket body so as to be movable forwards/backwards and can operate the locking element. A valve body including a channel hole and purge hole is fixed in the socket body, and a cylindrical seal member rotatable between a first position and a second position is attached between the socket body and valve body. The seal member opens the channel hole and closes the purge hole in the first position, and vice versa in the second position. The seal member is connected to a sleeve for valve opening/closing operation rotatably attached to the socket body by a connection pin inserted through a circumferential groove in the socket body.

A camera according to this invention includes a backlight judgment section which determines whether the photographic scene is against light by comparing the average luminance of the entire photographic screen obtained by photometry with the luminance of the main subject at a distance-measuring point selected by distance measurement. A quality evaluation method for granular objects includes the steps of: irradiating objects from a front side and a back side; taking a reflection light image and a transmission light image from both the front and back sides of the objects; obtaining optical information of the objects by image-processing the reflection and transmission light images; obtaining shape information of the objects based on the optical information; determining the quality of each of the objects based on the optical information and the shape information; and counting the numbers of objects per quality and obtaining ratios of the objects per quality against the total number of objects. The data from the front and the back sides of the granular object are analyzed to enhance the precision of the results of the quality analysis, and in particular, to enhance the precision in detecting cracks.
