A multilayered substrate includes first, second, and third insulating layers, and a transmission line. The first insulating layer includes first and second surfaces opposite to each other. A signal conductor of the transmission line is on the first surface of the first insulating layer. The second insulating layer is in contact with the first surface of the first insulating layer. The third insulating layer is in contact with the second surface of the first insulating layer. A dielectric loss of the second insulating layer is lower than a dielectric loss of the third insulating layer. A degree of close contact between the first insulating layer and the third insulating layer is higher than a degree of close contact between the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer.

Multilayered substrate

In a multilayer board, a transmission line includes layers including a first insulator layer, a first joining material layer in contact with a first surface of the first insulator layer, and a second joining material layer in contact with a second surface of the first insulator layer. A signal conductor of the transmission line is on the first surface of the first insulator layer, a relative permittivity of the second joining material layer is lower than a relative permittivity of the first joining material layer, and an adhesion strength between the first insulator layer and the first joining material layer is higher than an adhesion strength between the first insulator layer and the second joining material layer.

Multilayer board

A transmission line substrate includes a line portion and a connecting portion. The transmission line substrate includes a base material, a first ground conductor, a second ground conductor, a signal line, an external electrode, a second interlayer connection conductor. In the line portion, a transmission line having a strip line structure including the signal line, the first ground conductor, and the second ground conductor is provided. In the connecting portion, the signal line and the external electrode face each other in a stacking direction, without including therebetween an interlayer connection conductor. The second interlayer connection conductor surrounds a facing portion in which the signal line and the external electrode face each other in the Z-axis direction.

Structure for mounting a transmission line substrate having interlayer connection conductors to another substrate by a conductive bonding material

A multilayer resin substrate includes a stacked body including first resin layers made of a thermoplastic resin, conductor patterns on the stacked body, and a protective layer including a second resin layer made of a thermosetting resin. The stacked body includes first and second main surfaces, and a bent portion. One of the conductor patterns located at the bent portion is located only inside the stacked body. The protective layer covers at least the bent portion, on the main surface of the stacked body.

Multilayer resin substrate and method of manufacturing multilayer resin substrate

A transmission line includes connecting portion connected to the outside and a main body connected to the connecting portion. The connecting portion includes a terminal electrode connected to an external electrode, a signal conductor, and a ground conductor. The main body includes the signal conductor and the ground conductor. The connecting portion includes a first region including the terminal electrode, a second region adjacent to the first region along a signal transmission path, and a third region located between the second region and the main body. Impedance matching at the at least one of the connecting portions is achieved by the first region, the second region, and the third region.

Transmission line and mounting structure thereof

A multilayer board includes a laminated insulating body, signal conductors inside the laminated insulating body and extending in a transmission direction, and ground conductors sandwiching each of the signal conductors in a lamination direction via the insulating base material layers. The multilayer board includes a parallel extending portion in which the signal conductors extend parallel and that includes signal conductors arranged separately from each other in a direction orthogonal to the transmission direction in a planar view in the lamination direction, and a signal conductor overlapping with the signal conductor in a planar view in the lamination direction and arranged separately from the signal conductor in the lamination direction. The parallel extending portion includes first and second regions arranged separately in a direction orthogonal to the transmission direction in a planar view in the lamination direction.

A circuit board includes a first circuit board portion and a second circuit board portion. The first circuit board portion is provided with a first transmission line for a low-frequency signal or a low-speed signal, and the second circuit board portion is provided with a second transmission line for a high-frequency signal or a high-speed signal. The second circuit board portion is located on the first circuit board portion in a positional relationship in which the first transmission line and the second transmission line are side-by-side with each other. With this structure, signal leakage and interference between different signals are reduced or prevented in a line that transmits signals with different frequencies and different transmission speeds.

Circuit board and electronic device

An electronic apparatus includes a substrate and an electrical element mounted on the substrate. The electrical element includes a base material including a first principal surface and a second principal surface that are deformable and flat or substantially flat surfaces and a conductor pattern included on the base material. The electrical element further includes a first connection portion and a second connection portion that connect to a circuit included on the substrate and a transmission line portion located in a position different from positions of the first connection portion and the second connection portion that electrically connects the first connection portion and the second connection portion. The conductor pattern includes a conductor pattern of the first connection portion, a conductor pattern of the second connection portion, a conductor pattern of the transmission line portion, and an electrical-element-side bonding pattern arranged in the transmission line portion.

Electronic apparatus and electrical element

An electronic device includes a circuit board and an electric element mounted on the circuit board. The electric element includes a multilayer body made of electrically insulating base materials, a transmission line portion, and connection portions. The transmission line portion and the connection portions are provided in the multilayer body. Each of the connection portions is continuous with a corresponding portion of the transmission line portion, and is connected to the circuit board by an electrically conductive bonding material. The transmission line portion other than the connection portions is not electrically connected to an electronic component on the circuit board. The electronic component not electrically connected to the electric element is disposed between the transmission line portion of the electric element and the circuit board.

Electronic device

In a transmission line, a first ground conductor pattern and a second ground conductor pattern are connected through a first interlayer connecting conductor, and the first ground conductor pattern and a third ground conductor pattern are connected through a second interlayer connecting conductor. A first signal conductor pattern includes a first bypassing pattern portion that bypasses the first interlayer connecting conductor, and a second signal conductor pattern includes a second bypassing pattern portion that bypasses the second interlayer connecting conductor. Bypassing directions of the first bypassing pattern portion and the second bypassing pattern portion are opposite to each other.

Transmission line and electronic device

A transmission line substrate includes a stacked body that includes insulating base materials, first and second signal lines, and first and second ground conductors. The second signal line is provided on a layer different from the layer of the first signal line and extends in parallel with the first signal line. The first ground conductor is provided on the same layer as the layer of the second signal line and overlapped with the first signal line when viewed in the Z-axis direction. The second ground conductor is provided on the same layer as the layer of the first signal line and overlapped with the second signal line when viewed in the Z-axis direction. A first transmission line includes the first signal line, the first ground conductor, and an insulating base material, and a second transmission line includes the second signal line, the second ground conductor, and the insulating base material.

Transmission line substrate and electronic device

An electronic device includes first and second circuit boards and an interposer substrate. The first principal surface of the interposer substrate faces the first circuit board, and the second principal surface of the interposer substrate faces the second circuit board. A first input/output pad and a first auxiliary pad are provided on the first principal surface of the interposer substrate, and a second input/output pad and a second auxiliary pad portion are provided on the second principal surface of the interposer substrate. The first circuit board includes a land that is connected to the first input/output pad and the first auxiliary pad, and the second circuit board includes a land that is connected to the second input/output pad and the second auxiliary pad portion.

A module includes a multilayer body that includes insulating-resin base members laminated together, first and second main surfaces, and first and second regions when viewed in plan view. A first conductor pattern and a protective film that covers the first conductor pattern are provided in the first region of the first main surface. Second conductor patterns and holes that extend to the second conductor patterns are provided in the second region of the multilayer body. The holes are provided with conductive joining materials, and connectors are connected to the second conductor patterns by the conductive joining materials.
