A vehicle notification apparatus is equipped to a subject vehicle having a notification portion for providing a notification to an occupant, and outputs, to the notification portion, a notification signal for providing the notification about a non-subject vehicle. The vehicle notification apparatus includes a determination portion determining whether the subject vehicle is travelling on a road where a lane change is allowed, and a notification determination portion determining whether to output the notification signal to the notification portion according to a distance between the subject vehicle and the non-subject vehicle and a relative speed of the non-subject vehicle with respect to the subject vehicle when the determination portion determines that the subject vehicle is travelling on the road where the lane change is allowed.

A vehicular display control apparatus controls an image reflecting off one of a windshield and a combiner to allow an occupant of a vehicle to visually recognize a virtual image of the image. The apparatus generates a line image and an obstacle image concerning an obstacle around the vehicle and acquires a relative direction of the obstacle with reference to the vehicle. When the obstacle exists ahead of the vehicle, a line virtual image is shaped in concave in a first direction. When the obstacle exists behind the vehicle, the line virtual image is shaped in concave in a second direction opposite to the first direction. A position of an obstacle virtual image depends on a relative direction of the obstacle with reference to the vehicle along a width direction of the vehicle.

A driving assistance apparatus includes an arrangement memory that stores a past captured image around a target parking region, a captured image acquisition section that acquires a present captured image around the target parking region at parking or departing with respect to the target parking region, and an obstacle specification section that specifies a non-stationary obstacle around the target parking region, based on a difference between the past captured image stored in the arrangement memory, and the present captured image acquired by the arrangement acquisition section. A report section performs a report indicating presence of a non-stationary object when approaching closely the non-stationary object.

A driving assistance apparatus includes a proximity detection section that detects an obstacle within a set distance, a behavior regulation section that performs a forced braking of a vehicle when the obstacle is detected by the proximity detection section, an arrangement memory that stores a past captured image around a target parking region, a captured image acquisition section that acquires a present captured image around the target parking region at parking or departing with respect to the target parking region, and an obstacle specification section that specifies a non-stationary obstacle around the target parking region, based on a difference between the past captured image stored in the arrangement memory and the present captured image acquired by the arrangement acquisition section. The proximity detection section assigns a stationary object with the set distance that is smaller than the set distance assigned to a non-stationary object.

A display device for a vehicle includes an information acquiring unit, a display unit and a control unit. The information acquiring unit acquires vehicle information regarding the vehicle. The vehicle information includes engine information indicating an engine on and off state. The control unit controls the display unit to display the vehicle information when the engine information indicates an engine on state. Further, the display unit controls the display unit to discontinue the display of the vehicle information once when the engine on state of the engine information is switched to the engine off state, and to restart display of the vehicle information.

Display device for vehicle

A meter apparatus is mountable on a vehicle equipped with an internal combustion engine having an output shaft that rotates at a predetermined idling speed during idling of the engine. When the vehicle satisfies a predetermined stop condition during rotation of the output shaft at the idling speed, the rotation of the output shaft is stopped temporarily. The meter apparatus includes a pointer needle that moves according to a rotation speed of the output shaft to indicate the rotation speed. The amount of movement of the pointer needle with respect to a change in the rotation speed of the output shaft is less when the rotation speed is in a low speed range below the idling speed than when the rotation speed is in a high speed range above the idling speed.
