The thermoplastic resin composition according to the present invention includes a thermoplastic resin (A), and a modified ethylene copolymer (B) dispersed and contained therein, wherein the modified ethylene copolymer (B) in the thermoplastic resin composition has an average dispersed particle aspect ratio of 1 to 3.5, and an average dispersed particle diameter of not more than 3 &#x3bc;m. The modified ethylene copolymer (B) is preferably a copolymer, modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, of ethylene with at least one monomer component selected from the group consisting of (i) olefin components except for ethylene, (ii) diene components and (iii) ester components having an ethylenically unsaturated group.

Thermoplastic resin composition having high durability

In the belt according to the present invention, the whole or a part of a belt body is formed from a thermoplastic resin composition (C) comprising a thermoplastic resin (A) and a modified ethylene copolymer (B) dispersed and contained therein. The modified ethylene copolymer (B) is preferably a copolymer, modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, of ethylene with at least one monomer component selected from (i) olefin components except for ethylene, (ii) diene components and (iii) ester components having an ethylenically unsaturated group. The belt according to the present invention hardly causes abrasion, damage, cracks, breakage and the like on the belt body and is remarkably excellent in durability, even if the belt is used at a high load for a long time.

A wireless communication improving sheet capable of improving a possible communication distance of an IC tag for wireless communication, a wireless communication IC tag, and a wireless communication system are provided. A first spacer has an arrangement surface for arranging a wireless IC tag. An auxiliary antenna, which resonates with respect to an electromagnetic wave used for wireless communication, is provided on a surface opposite to the arrangement surface of the first spacer. A second spacer is provided on an opposite side to the first spacer with the auxiliary antenna interposed therebetween. The first spacer and the auxiliary antenna is formed with a groove (a hole) having the second spacer as the bottom.

Wireless communication improving sheet, wireless communication IC tag, information transmitting medium and wireless communication system

A first spacer has an arrangement surface on which a wireless IC tag is arranged, and an auxiliary antenna that resonates with electromagnetic wave used for wireless communication is provided on a surface opposite to the arrangement surface of the first spacer. A second spacer is provided opposite to the first spacer with the auxiliary antenna interposed therebetween. The first spacer and the auxiliary antenna are provided with a groove (opening) as an adjuster for resonance frequency so that the second spacer forms a bottom of the groove. Application to a plurality of communication frequencies is made possible by changing an arrangement position of the wireless IC tag with respect to the adjuster.

Wireless communication improving sheet body, IC tag for wireless communication and method of manufacturing the same, information transmitting medium and wireless communication system

An information storage medium, a managed product and a management system in which the possible communication distance of an IC tag for wireless communication can be improved and the reading direction limitation can be reduced are provided. The information storage medium includes a wireless IC tag in which information is stored, a sheet body including a first spacer, an auxiliary antenna and a second spacer, and an elongated member formed of a conductive material. The elongated member is provided to be opposite to the wireless IC tag with respect to the sheet body. As the elongated member, for example, a part of a tool such as a body portion of a screwdriver can be used.

Information storage medium, object of management and management system

A wireless communication-improving sheet member for increasing a possible communication distance of an IC tag for wireless communication, a wireless IC tag, an antenna, and a wireless communication system. The sheet member may include a first spacer having an arrangement face on which the wireless IC tag is disposed without a wired connection, and an auxiliary antenna is disposed on the first spacer on an opposite side to the arrangement face, the auxiliary antenna resonating with electromagnetic waves used in the wireless communication. The auxiliary antenna has a first conductor layer as a resonant layer and a second spacer. The second spacer is disposed on an opposite side to the first spacer with the first conductor layer interposed therebetween. A discontinuous area is disposed in the first conductor layer of the auxiliary antenna.

Wireless communication-improving sheet member, wireless IC tag, antenna, and wireless communication system using the same

In one embodiment of the present invention, a conductive pattern portion formed in a pattern layer functions as an antenna, and, when electromagnetic waves at a predetermined frequency arrive, resonance occurs, and an electromagnetic wave of a specific frequency is introduced into a sheet member. As to the sheet member having the pattern layer, even in a small and thin sheet member, the phase of reflected waves from the reflection area can be adjusted, and thus an area having high electric field intensity due to interference between reflected waves from the reflection area and arriving electromagnetic waves can be set in the vicinity of the antenna element. When the sheet member is disposed between an antenna element and a communication jamming member, an electromagnetic field is generated around the conductive pattern portion, and an electromagnetic energy is supplied from the conductive pattern portion to the antenna element, and therefore receiving power of the antenna element can be increased. Accordingly, wireless communication can be suitably performed.

Sheet member for improving communication, and antenna device and electronic information transmitting apparatus provided therewith

In one embodiment of the present invention, an object of the invention is to provide a wireless communication-improving sheet member capable of increasing a possible communication distance of an IC tag for wireless communication, a wireless IC tag, an antenna, and a wireless communication system. A first spacer includes an arrangement face on which on which the wireless IC tag is disposed without a wired connection, and an auxiliary antenna is disposed on the first spacer on an opposite side to the arrangement face, the auxiliary antenna resonating with electromagnetic waves used in the wireless communication. The auxiliary antenna includes a first conductor layer as a resonant layer and a second spacer. The second spacer is disposed on an opposite side to the first spacer with the first conductor layer interposed therebetween. A discontinuous area is disposed in the first conductor layer of the auxiliary antenna. Thus, it is possible to not only eliminate influence of a communication-jamming member, but also increase received electrical power of a wireless IC tag (antenna), and ensure a long communication distance.

A thin, light and soft electromagnetic wave absorber is disclosed exhibiting an excellent workability. The first conductor element group of a first conductor element layer consists of aligned cross conductor elements and square conductor elements in regions surrounded by cross conductor elements. A radio wave incident from the first conductor element layer side is received by each element, internally subjected to multiple reflection and then absorbed by a first loss material layer. Since the first conductor element group is realized by the cross conductor elements and the square conductor elements, receiving effect is enhanced and the radio wave can be collected with a high collection efficiency.

Electromagnetic wave absorber

An electromagnetic interference suppressor of substantially unpressurized sheet form is obtained by applying and drying a magnetic paint, and comprises 30 to 80% by volume of soft magnetic powder and 20 to 70% by volume of a binder. The binder is an elastomer or a resin that a glass transition point and/or a softening point is 50&#xb0; C. or more and a storage modulus (E') is 10Pa (JIS K 7244-1) or more in a state containing neither solvent nor filler at room temperature. This electromagnetic interference suppressor exerts a superior electromagnetic interference suppressing effect.

Electromagnetic interference suppressor, antenna device and electronic information transmitting apparatus

A conductive pattern basically has a substantially polygonal outline shape which is a polygon and can have a high peak value of the electromagnetic wave absorption amount as compared to a case when the conductive pattern has a circular outline shape. Thus, the conductive pattern is basically a polygon and at least one corner portion is shaped in curve. This reduces or even minimizes the shift of the frequency at which the absorption amount becomes a peak value by the polarization direction of the electromagnetic wave. Accordingly, in at least one embodiment, it is possible to realize an electromagnetic absorber having an excellent electromagnetic wave absorption characteristic exhibiting a high peak value of the absorption amount of the electromagnetic wave and a small shift of frequency at which the absorption amount becomes a peak value by the polarization direction of the electromagnetic wave.
